Hi, I'm Steve. I'm 32 from Poole in Dorset. I want to show my gratitude to all you great people here.

I'm still a smoker :8: but i just ordered my first ecigarette which should be arriving some time this week. I can't wait to try it and start to get a bit healthier.

It was the RAC bloke that came to fix the car who got me on the road to vaping. He let me try a few puffs on his Skycig and i was really surprised at how realistic it was. I had a look online at the Skycig and other similar brands like V2 and Greensmoke (which I almost purchased) when i started to realise that a lot of the information about these brands was bogus and presented by biased affilates posting their "reviews" online.

Thankfully, I found this wonderful place and thanks to the wealth of knowledge and advice, i think i have made a well informed purchase.

In the end, I went for an eGo c starter kit including 2 batteries, a CE-4v3 clearomizer, 5 boge cartomizers and a 10ml bottle of juice.
i was looking at getting an eGo twist vv battery too, but this will have to wait until the starter kit has paid for it's self in pseudo fag money!

Inevitably, being a noob, i do have a few questions.

On average, how many refills is the CE-4 clearomiser good for before i have to order some more? If I understand correctly, empty cartomizers can be refilled around 5 times or more before they're dead. Is it the same with the CE-4?

In the same respect, how does a CE-4 compare to a Vivi Nova or a Kanger?

I guess I'm looking to avoid too many online orders of disposable items as I'm never bloody in when they arrive! (and petrol is almost as offensively priced as fags are these days!)

Thanks for reading!

Steve

Welcome M8, new member myself but been off the weed about 3 months, started with a similar kit to you and still going strong(really kit) I got some spare CE 4's but have not had to use them yet. I dont know if it makes a difference but The ones Im using are kept topped up and not allowed to run dry, but if you like nice shiny things it wont be long before you buy bits you dont really need lol, I now use the Ego kit at work but treated myself to a Z max for home use, all the best in your quest

Hi and welcome, you should get a good few weeks out of a ce4 before it needs replacing, if you bought a ce4+ the atomizer heads are replaceable,
as for cartomizers just keep using until you notice a drop in performance I've had cartomizers that have lasted three days and some three weeks.
as a noob setup you can't go too wrong with some kanger evod bcc they perform very well and the heads are replaceable and rebuildable if your upto it
good luck with and happy vaping!

Hiya and welcome :) there are a few things that will determine how long stuff lasts such as the flavour/juice you use. You'll soon know when it needs replacing as the performance will drop off or you'll notice the flavour isn't quite as good. Also bear in mind that for the first month or so your taste buds might do funny things. It will settle. Finally if there is anything you aren't sure about or if you have any questions (no matter how wily or small you may think they are) don't be afraid to ask. If we can help, we will and it might help the next person too :)

Thanks all for the welcome and info. No doubt I'll post again when my gear arrives and i'll share my experiences.
