If you after a big jump forward you can move more into vw system like the Vamo v5 which is basically just the battery and you add your own tank to it. I have just moved into this side myself this week, and it gives a lot more control, costs around £30-40 for unit or as a starter kit, try http://myepack.co.uk/kits.html for a great company i used for mine, a lot of people have used them but there are many vendors around so check other sites too, make sure you check out the discount codes area of this site before you buy, saves a lot of money that way
Oh, thank you, so the more advanced vapers tend to 'mix and match' like that? I guess that makes plenty of sense but might be a bit too far forward for me at this stage as I don't know what kind of tank I would be after or whatever.
Just ordered the eGo-T 900 starter kit and a some liquid for my 'out and about' kit, seems to get fantastic reviews from everyone so good enough for a newbie like me.
I think after a while I will most likely look to order myself something a bit bulkier and 'deluxe' for home use, and definitely will look at the discount codes area haha. Fortunately the ego-T didn't cost all that much and is a pretty comprehensive setup from what I can see.

Yer the ego will do you well, i have 2 of these for backup systems now, using a Evod tank (really cheap to get on ebay), they work really well together. These have never let me down, and would always have one as a spare now.
As for the Vamo V5, well i guess time will tell there hehe, being vaping only 2 weeks now, so is all still new to myself also, but it does work, and thats what matters Best of luck that way thou.

Anything that can get your foot on the first rung of the ladder can't be a bad thing!!! never tried the cigalikes myself so I can't comment, I went straight for an Ego Twist and a couple of Kanger T2s and stayed on them for about a Year before trying the mods and variable voltage devices, but take it at your own pace and if your happy with the results your getting stick with them!!! Nice Intro by the way and anything your not sure about just ask someone will always come to your aid on the best Vaping Forum on the Planet!!!

I started off on cig-a-likes too. We shouldn't really grumble about them so much because they are often the first thing we buy when wanting to try them and then go on to bigger and better vaping gear.
The best thing about vaping, for me, is the vast array of flavours there are to be found! Awesome
