Hi everyone. Been vaping since 08, and still love it.

Started off with a gamuci .... cat piss flavour. Now im tinkering with vw/mechs/rba/rda etc.

Funny how no matter how bad the kit you start of with is, its great until your spoiled with the next great thing to come out.

Wonder where we will be in the next few years, tiny 20,000 mah button batterys powering crazy adamantium coils?!

Hi ya and welcome to POTV.

Technology has moved on in general over the last 30 years.

But it is intetesting seeing how vape gear changes :D

Hi @Loco and welcome to POTV. :)

'08 veteran eh?

What sort of set up are you using these days?

Just wish i could have started even sooner, would have stopped me even thinking of picking up a stinky if it was a option!

Have got to try alot of the gear as it progressed over the years, so experience is on my side, however finances are not, somewhat limiting my kit.

Have to buy, try then sell to get the next thing unfortunately.

Trusty kayfun/trident on a nemesis (spent 3 days fuming myself with ammonia to get a nice patina :) )
and the trusty mpv for a not so stealthy out and about mod.

As i cant afford a nice dna/sx350 box im currently making myself an custom enclosure, lots of wood/brass and alluminum sheet and blood :( everywhere.

Not sure wether to make it a mech or a vw yet tho, hoping when im let loose on the rest of the forum i might be able to gleen some opinions!

Definitely moved on since the Gamucci by the sounds. ;)

Don't forget to share pics of the end product when you're build is complete.

Hi Loco! Welcome to the Planet! :welcome2:

Not too far from you in Bedford, I'm near Kettering. Just posted up about a couple of vape meets in the Midlands forum if you're interested. One in Kettering next Saturday and one in Leicester on July 5th - both in vape friendly pubs :)

Hi and welcome to the planet. Good question that, where will we be in a few years from now. I heard that @Raguri was hoping to have at least 5 amps going to the lightbulb in his bedroom by 2525

From what ive read of his vaping exploits, if that was the case id picturing him trying to screw a atty into the socket!

Seems as with alot of technology, vaping has advanced with improving battery technology.

As the powers that be seem to be allowing things like electric vehicles become more mainstream, im sure this technology will grow at a increasingly fast pace.

26650 mods are becoming more popular, yet the batteries are a generation behind compared to there 18650 counterparts. I wonder if as the vaping population increases the companies might have

incentive to make vape tailored batteries. Or even what market are the batteries we use intended for? Torches?!....sorry think im becoming a bit unduely curious here!
