What's new

Hi -lots of blabla-

thanks for the welcomes ! :)

what´s it like in belgium, vapewise?
Well, vendors here cannot sell liquids that contain nicotine, which destroys the idea of having great local vendors..sadly, i´m just speaking for myself here though, i smoked quite a lot, and that nicotine fix is (still) needed...for now. I´d love to support local vendors but they are just being crippled so it´s almost impossible to compete with vendors abroad, right ?
I order from the netherlands, france, i´ve ordered some juice directly from mount baker too, but the shipping costs suck, found one french shop that does free shipping but they don´t sell liqua, sadly...and now the government has smelled money in an increasing vaping community it won´t be long before they´ll be taxing the crap out of that stuff.
But not to go all bitter; belgians can get their stuff, just have to search..and search..and hope they don´t get a customs bill to pay when they import nicotine juices, they say it´s allowed for personal use so that´s good...i guess ...wait and see where it goes...
I´m all for promoting it as an alternative to smoking cigs but the better known and the more popular it gets, the more likely it is the taxhounds will smell money.
But what can you do ? Support petitions and hope for the best.

Hello Belgium, If your a bit of a gearhound then your heading down the right road...shinyitus will get a grip soon

I know you are only new to this but you may want to look at the mixology section of the forum.
There are some good savings to be made going down that road that can help offset the money you will probably end up spending on gear.
Vaping can be cheaper than smoking but it does take some willpower to resist the lure of shiny new gear.

yesyes, it´s fanatstic yet overwhelming, the many options, diy´ing stuff, just so much to look into, which i love doing anyways. It kind of makes me feel like the first time i built a PC and the money i saved knowing what´s going on in there and how it all works, it might be intimidating at first, you can never know everything, but there´s lots of information available.
If something is interesting you'll want to know it as well as you can, it´s always a bit of a (mostly) time investment but as long as it doesn´t feel like a hassle you get into more and more detailed things. I'm just stocking up on information, wether it´s articles, tutorials, reviews, videos...there´s a lot out there, this is the first forum i signed up to though, i liked the name. :ape:

It sounds like the sort of hands on person who will get on with rebuildable devices and mechanical mods (though they do not suit people that want a plug & play life).I think that is the road for those that want to save money in the long term because of the durability of the equipment compared to the variable wattage devices that most people use.
