hoping you can help me,
I have vaped for 6 years and I love it. for a while have been vaping a mixture of halo menthol blast and vanilla ice cream which I adore. have changed my kits to arc 5 which has arc mini tops, had arc 4 before and couldn't be bothered to fiddle with the airflow. since using new ones my coils are burning after 2/7, it is costing me a fortune. Went to one local ecig shop who said it was the fluid burning the coils, went to a second shop and he said that I was not letting enough air flow. who is right?

Hi @jane sampson and welcome to the planet.

it all depends on the coil ohm in the tank.
if it is a high ohm coil like 1.8, 1.6, 1.5, 1.2 then these are low wattage coils so best with 50vg/50pg juice.
if you are using low ohm coils like 0.2, 0.25, 0.5 then these are high wattage coils so best with 70vg/30pg
the higher the vg the thicker the juice gets so may be struggling to wick the cotton fast enough.

so my guess would be what the first shop said.
whaat is the ratio of the juice you are using and any idea of the ohm of the coil. its usually written on the side of the coil or on the box.
