Just received my next Hospital Date. I go back in on the 25th March which is a couple of days after my 5th Anniversary of joining POTV and my Vaping Journey proper. I did quit smoking a couple of weeks before. Apparently Surgery should be in the region of 8 - 10 Hours and will be my 2nd of 5 Ops to fix my Heart and other various things. I am bricking it as usual already, i am not a fan of Hospitals. I will be in for upto 3 Weeks this time unless i sign myself out before. Thinking of buying Rog Ally or Steam Deck to pass the time or maybe even take my Laptop in with me. Should be able to still come on here to update you all. I do have a iPhone but find them to small for browsing and Forum use. Will see how it goes.

I wish you all the best mate, sounds like some real serious surgery.

I hope it goes as smoothly as possible and you recover quickly.

I know what a Steam Deck is, is a ROG ALLY something similar? When I had pancreatitis the man in the bed next to me had his laptop so maybe it would be an idea to take that and save the money on the SD or ALLY?

Best of luck with the op and take stuff with you to pass the time and your laptop as mobiles are pants for forums. 🤞

More or less the same except the Rog Ally runs Windows 11 whereas the Steam Deck is mainly aimed at Steam Games.

Roy Ally is a great gaming device. Being Win 11 based it means it is open to other launchers. I have Gamepass on mine as well as Epic, Ubisoft, EA Games etc.
