hope this helps ok and by the way I redid this just for you with a new coil this morning 4 wrap 1.3OHM twisted coil .20 Kanthal, not one hot spot from set up

every one has there own way and this works for me

top coil shot see how its not at the top of the wick

bottom coil note how it is lifted from the base of the Atty

Test fire all lighting together yip not the neatest but i believe if they all light up from the start don"t fiddle with them and cause hot spots

Final one Robb note don't allow the wick to touch the base in the tank as well i keep mine a good 3-4mm off the base

HTH mate now get the bugger wicked man and stop messing about. serious note once you have cracked it you will love it, as I mentioned in steves last week, grants in the hybrid and carto and the taste on the carto is poo compared to a geny set up once you have it set up correctly.

+1 with BaZz Rob .. dont bother twisting till you have managed to get straight coils working first!

Ive tried a couple of twisted coils and found it made jack all difference anyway ... I am undecided if twisting serves a purpose other than sorting out ohms on certain ohm wires or is just a case of emperors new cloths (from a personal viewpoint) I know the theory .. I just don't really buy it.

now the ribbon kanthal looks interesting ... but like I say .. just get making a normal coil sorted first

Can i disagree on that mate , I did find using a twisted coil easier to coil up and does give more surface area IMO. I have no idea why but it does gives off more vapor with my set up. on the Ribbon M if you send me your Addy i will send you some when mine turns up mate, but need to look at the amount of wraps if you like a high OHM todd mentioned 6or7 wraps gave 1.4 (i think).

Cheers Carlos .. Im up for that .. I tend to try and stick it at around 1.2 for my UDT-L anyways .. Id love to try the stuff.
