Hey again :)

So far i've made quite a few liquids, most of them aren't too bad but need a bit of tweaking, but my butterscotch and cream I've always gone back to so going to make a large batch of it to keep for a few weeks. How do you guys make large batches of liquid? Do you do the same and drop it straight into the bottle or do you mix it into a container and pour it in with a funnel?

I'm open to suggestions :)

How big are we talking? 100ml? 200ml? 400ml?

Would be pretty stale by the time you got to the end of something over 200ml.

Was just thinking around the 100ml mark, maybe around 50. Seems to be the point where using drops as measurements would be a bit to long.

50ml - 100ml, I mix them into 50ml and 100ml bottles. Then have a 10ml bottle of for carryig around, refill it from the "bulk" bottle.
Don't make any juice up larger than 100ml batches, but I make up VG/PG/nic base in 250ml bottles ready for mixing flavours.

A couple of times, I mixed up in a jug so I can whizz it up with a mixer, but I hate the loss of mls. :)

i use a mixing jug which i bought from jv24/7 so i can measure and have room to whisk then bottle it

I kinda do the same as scrumpox.. I make batches straight into 100 / 50 / 30 ml glass bottles and topup the 10ml bottles I carry about from the big glass ones.

I do 100ml in a big glass beaker and use a coffee frother to mix... often make smaller batches straight into the bottle. .. if I get some larger bottles will probably mix straight into them as you do get wastage otherwise. .. I fill my bottles out of the mix with a 10ml syringe so keeps wastage to a minimum but still irritating

Thanks guys, Looks like I'll be getting some 100ml bottles as well then. Luckily I have rather large syringes ready for this kind of predicament so will be putting them to use soon.

Large batches are easy enough, mix calculator to work out your quantities, and syringe to dose. You can make the exercise easier by "rounding" eg. if the calculator says 19.44ml of nic base, 21.28 PG and 40.28 VG (plus your concentrates) then simplifying it to 19.5ml of nic base,21.5ml PG and 40ml VG, won't make much of a big deal to your finished batch.
