How much nic to add

Are you still using the same premade juice? If so, it comes overconcentrated so you need an additional 10ml of VG or PG added to make it taste the way it is intended. So, you are mixing 60ml of juice. 60 ml of juice at 3mg/ml is 180mg. 180/72 = 2.5 so you need to add 7.5ml of VG or PG and 2.5ml of 7.2% nic to get to 3mg in a 60ml bottle.

I know Manabush make shortfills specifically for the addition of either 3, 6 and 12mg nic shots but I'm not aware of other makers doing so.

That begs the question are for example 50ml shortfills specifically designed for the addition of a single 10ml 18mg nic shot? If so then if you add no nicotine then the flavour is over concentrated unless you just top up with 10ml of VG/PG and if you add more nicotine than that it will dilute the flavour unless you use 10ml bottles of the same flavour containing nicotine or use 72mg nicotine.

I think you will find that most 50ml Shortfills are designed for a 10ml nic shot since TPD f’d it all up.

as said, mainly designed for final mix of 3mg
Manabush are one of the very few but im sure ive seen a couple of sites offering 6mg so sending out 40ml in the bottle instead of the normal 50ml.
also noticed a few now using 70ml bottles so enough room for 2 nic shots to make it 6mg.
no mention of over strength concentrate though so even though they offer the option theve not compensated on the strength.

Many say you can vape as is with zero nic or add a nicshot, so don't think adding extra vg/pg to top it up is strictly necessary. I add approx half a nicshot to 50ml shortfills for dtl, comes out around 1.6mg.

Sorry for not replying sooner. What I normally do is buy a 50ml bottle of premade juice an just add a 10ml 18mg nic shot but what I found online is a bottle of nic concentrate which is 7.2% so according to the calculator on here it said 0.4ml to add I just don't want to get it all wrong and mess up lol sorry I'm a complete newb

So are you using the 7.2 percent nicotine now? As if my memory is right that is pre TPD 72MG a ml, so you would need a lot less than if using the 18mg you can buy most places nowadays.

If it is 72MG how much are you making, as that’s the nicotine I use
