how to make 750ml base

On my phone so bit more difficult to go to the calculator at top of page and do calculatio s and then paste...the calc at top of page should be of great help

however I do have to say that a vendor asking for help with mixing something that I presume you then going to sell on presumably to us doesn't sit too well with me if I'm honest.especially with basic questions like diluting etc...apologies this is not meant to sound rude but just my opinion :)

I'd just like to put my 2 cents in :)

I have no idea what the OP was but I get the gist of it.

Everyone has to start somewhere and I am glad fayeema.com asked whatever it was, here where the POTV members would be more than happy to help along the way.

We have had MANY members and vendors alike who did not mix before but now do and it has taken many failed juices to get the right ones. Just because Fayeema is a vendor, doesn't mean he shouldn't ask. After all, we are all potential customers and I would rather know that someone who is interested in mixing, is doing it right and asking for help versus just throwing it all in a bottle, slapping a label on it, and selling it without ever asking how to mix to begin with.

+1

Also Fayeema .. I would urge you to do lots of experimentation, lots of research and make lots and LOTS of test juices before you consider taking any to market. I know from my own mixing .. its VERY easy to mix a juice .. but very hard to mix a good one.

Thanks KulrMeStoopid

appreciate your help and advice!!Just a quick note to say these were not to be sold on the open market but to be given away as freebies for review!!

was slightly downbeat with the first response but now back to my chirpy self :lol1:

THANKS PLANET OF THE VAPES!! YOU MAKE MY LIFE COMPLETE..

I totally agree with ZT about making a good one. I have about 50+ flavours in my "juice box" but I probably stick with about 3-5 specific ones because those are the ones I've perfected. Lots of lil 5ml bottles everywhere full of unidentifiable sludge :P

i'll of course stand corrected if necessary but as highlighted my intentions were not ones of malice,as they NEVER are, but i will add i think the vendor was naive with their initial post.

apologies fayeema if my response was not to your liking or taken in the wrong manner :(

No offence taken.. I totally appreciate your comments positive or negative ( all adds to improving customer service) but would like to add as a vendor i specialise in empty bottles rather than the one's filled with E-liquid. This was something i wanted to try for review as its something we may look at doing in the future..

Oh shoosh! I didn't take it as you being malicious :P We all have concerns where there are things sold to us that could not be safe and you are totally right in being concerned! I didnt get to read the original post so I don't have a clue what was in it, and was going based off of your reply to it.

My concern was that fayeema may not ask further questions and go into mixing slightly blinded and that is something I (personally) would not want to see happen. I would rather the community help him with his adventure into mixing... he has to learn somewhere and where better than right here with our hundreds of DIY'ers at his disposal to guide him :D

If im to be totally honest i was actually thrown off mixing from the first reply (although totally understandable) but your kind replies have eased my pain :lovesign:

I actually do have experience in mixing for myself. just never made a big batch as one.

The intial question was :

1. I need to make a 375ml base of 70%pg, 30% Vg, 10mg Nic (starting @ 72mg) which is something i havent done before. (i've only made single bottles for myself) Whats the correct ratios to use ( i know i can use calculator but just want to make sure im doing it right)

2. Also do i have to add distilled water to VG if im going to be using flavour concentrates anyway ( if i do should add this to vg first or can i just add to the full mixture)?

3. Is it ok for me to make a full premix containing pg,vg & nic, Let these steep in 10ml bottles then simply add 1.5-2.0ml flavouring as and when required?
