I am new to this..... A few questions please!

Ok. So I bought the Kanger evod. It has already started leaking and gargling. It also has a not so easy pull on it. I get plenty of vapor and a great throat hit. I made sure to clean the tip and inside of the clearomizer just in case I got some juice in it. All good there. Anyone have any advice? I also have a protank on the way. Any advice on a good juice similar to a Marlboro smooth? Thanks

Hello and welcome Joyj30 Is it a genuine Evod there's a lot of fakies going around I love my evods and my protanks your Evod should have 3 airholes on the base and 2 silicon o rings sealing the base - as for the protank which model is it the original or the pt 2 or 3 - it's really hard to find tobacco flavoured liquids that actually taste like cigarettes I haven't come across any yet the best tobacco flavoured liquids I've found are over bestcigliquid apart from that there is a well known and loved liquid called squid ink from MrKraken. Apart from that all I can reccomend is heading over to smoke rainbow they do 1ml samplers for 60p a pop so you could try out lots of different flavours - when I started it was all different tobacco flavours I was trying - but now a couple of months later my favourites are black fire by bestcigliquid a deep rich tobacco which has a taste of bonfire toffee - squid ink by MrKraken which is like vaping haribos - fruit mix by Empvap - and black ice also by Empvap a really nice blackcurrant menthol. There's also a juice reviews section read through a few and something might take your fancy - whatever you buy don't forget ur discount code

You don't say what you're using it on, was it a starter kit? Acommon problem for new Vapers is drawing to hard slow steady long draws about 4 seconds or so are best. If your airholes on the base of your tank are blocked this will tighten the draw and flood the coil with juice. Look a the base, you'll see some small holes in the sides. Use a pin to make sure theyre clear...

U were right. I bought a knock off evod. So I found a trusted kanger seller and I have a genuine evod on the way. Btw- I am using some juice from Halo cigs and it tastes amazing! Has anyone tried their ecig called "triton"?. One more question- is the Aspire dual coil good and will it fit my ego battery?

I did use a dual coil when I was struggling to give up. Dual coil means lots of vapour but it does eat up the juice big time. Used an EVOD exclusively for 2 months. Still great vapour & flavour & very economical on juice. Went back to the dual coil briefly but now it's too strong. Depends on the individual of course. Look into the PG / VG mix of your Halo juice.

Time to chip in my 2 pence worth as i have been living in the mixing section for the last week or so. I have found the evods will leak and gurgle when they are running around half full or less. I carry 3 evods at any one time and i come across this when the juice is running low. what i do to fix this is...... Top it up then take a few puffs on the evod before screwing it back on to your battery, i find this helps clear it and get a good air flow for the first puffs so no juice leaks back on to the battery contact. I then wipe the positive pin in the bottom of the evod with some kitchen roll so you get a clean contact with the battery once its screwed back on, also wipe the battery contact if it looks like juice has leaked on to it. Now screw it back on to the battery. Now enjoy your vape. done

Its getting there ninja, just lots of reading and watching loads of videos. waiting on some new flavors and additives turning up at the mo. I will get some your way ninja once i now its safe no monkeys were harmed in the making of this juice... yet

Good general advice from @breakbystealth. I thought it was just me that thought when an EVOD gets down to only a third full it starts underperforming.
