I can't get any of my genesis type atty's vaping nicely :( any advice ?

Micro coil with Wick after three attempts and it works on the Gamma yippee thsnks everyone.... Now to try on the kraken

I dont doubt you can get a good vape from them and when you find something that you've mastered and you like your going to stick with whats familiar, and if that's what works for you that's what vaping is all about, finding what's perfect for YOU I had an rsst and managed a few good builds but it just wasn't for me. I find they are very unforgiving, where as a dripper or bottom coil I can chuck a micro coil in half asleep and it'll still be a great vape.

Totally Agree mate, horses for courses, what works for one person may not work for the next

Yep,was going to give up on mine after weeks of tryin to get right,but after a bit of help from @Carlos putting me straight on one bit of the set up not looked back, yeah protanks are my work choice but home and weekends gennies all the way here now

Still couldn't get the kraken sorted... Going to try SS rope and some mesh and god help us all what comes out..... One down one to go thanks again to everyone as I was about to give up and leave them there for show and for another day

goanfatboy.... when you get your Kraken going good let us all know what & how you did your build, i just got my kraken and so far i'm not enjoying it just cos i can't get a good set-up into it, gave up trying for the time being and sticking with my taifun gt. Will be interesting to hear how you get on with it

After months of tinkering and alot of advice from the guys (cheers guys), I managed to get a decent vape from my AGA T2 (arrggggggh Grrrrrr T2) using:

.20 Kanthal (torched) 6 wraps @ 2.4 Ohms
500 SSmesh with a cotton tip where the coil is

Finally satisfied with it, it wont thread on my Vamo anymore! Typical

I still can't get the Kraken sorted...... Gave up with it.... It's full of juice as well so maybe try tomorrow

What Mesh and kanthal are you using, I'm surprised you could not get it working with SS Rope as this stuff self wicks even without tilting the Atty itself mate.

I've done a boring 4/5 wrap of .4x.1 ribbon on a thin walled straw wick, and I'm really enjoying the setup. It could be a bit warmer, so I might do a 3/4 wrap next time, but awesome flavor and vapor. I went over the mesh with a lighter before rolling, and took a lighter just to the top of the wick after. After a bit of pulsing and fiddling it's been faff-free for 3 days so far. IMO ribbon is a lot more reliable on mesh than round wire. Sorry about the crappy tablet cam pic quality.

Totally Agree with the above, ribbon is a lot easier to play with, another factor is get those coils even
