Not quite a new user but I need to answer a question so I don't burn my house down, the wife quite likes it how it is
I have just bought an MVP 2.0 and obviously I can charge it through my laptop etc as it comes with the USB lead.. However if I want to mains charge it using that USB lead, can I use the mains plug thing I used to use for my ego battery's ?
Or do I need to order something else ?

Bloody hell, just replied to your other thread as you were editing it! You can charge one from a kindle/smartphone wall charger. I have, with no bad effects.

Just make sure you use a decent mains adapter & not one of those cheapy things. Better than using a laptop imo, which i don't really recommend at all. Major supermarkets sell respectable usb wall chargers & are better than most which come with vaping gear that i've seen
5v / 500ma.

if it's an unregulated psu, it shouldn't matter if it's above 500ma because the current will drop according to what the device is drawing but do use a voltage that the device requires.

Yeah sorry about that, was having trouble posting via tapatalk.

Cheers, so effectively I can use an iPhone charger plug ?

I use my phone charger, as long as the rating is not wildly different there's no problem. So as long as you don't use your chainsaw charger or anything crazy, everything will be fine.

i use my htc plug to charge mine

I use pc usb, mains power, whatever is at hand at the time and never had any problems. The charging an external device is output only so you can charge another device from the mvp but not charge the mvp from a phone or tablet as far as I know.
