hello everybody,
i am new to this vape forum website and i have a serious problem with my new vape right now,why does my vape's battery drain quicker after using it few times during the day? it actually shouldn't do that,i got my vape on the 10th of March,2021 and it is Aspire PockeX vape☹

Hi @panelyte paslaptis and welcome to the planet.

ive never used this kit but a quick google shows it has a 1500mah internal battery.
coils it takes are 0.6ohm for high 70vg or 1.2ohm for 50/50 juice.
im guessing using the 0.6 it will use more power than the 1.2 coil.

how often are you charging your kit and how much juice do you get through in a day. its a 2ml tank so how many times you fill it.

fixed battery mods are decent enough kits for beginners but once the battery starts to die its only good for the bin. maybe its been sitting on a shelf for a few years and batteries can start failing the older they get.

Hi and welcome :D

The PockeX was my first vape device many moons ago now, the battery life was never that fantastic IMO.

I had about four or five aspire pockex over about two years.

The reason I changed was the battery life after about 4-6 months the charge wouldn't last more than a few hours vaping.

I looked at possibley changing the battery but wasn't viable.

Maybe time to move on like I did and look for something else.

I did like the Pockex but what I have now is better and now wish I had found POTV earlier

Hi there,

If your device is new I would recommend contacting the seller and arrange a refund/replacement. Im sure if you explain the issues you are having with the device the seller would be happy to replace.

As @MrDJ said, the PockeX uses two type of 'capsules' (coils): one rated 0.6 Ω and one rated 1.2 Ω (ohm). If you use a 0.6 Ω coil, you will have a more powerful vape but the battery will drain more quickly and you will consume more liquid. If you use a 1.2 Ω coil, the battery will last longer, about two times longer, and you will consume less liquid.

See an image of the 0.6 Ω coil, the 0.6 Ω rating is written on it, so you should see which one is which.
