was actually directed to somebody else
where you was tagged as an example

So my case that I "rested" was directed at @vapesmarter not you
you was simply the example in that case or point I was making in that post

but by trying to use this as a response, when it was not actually responding to you
you have in fact proven my point further by not being able comprehend the point being made

I seem to remember things like the mmr vaccine having an effective rate against mumps in the high 80's and flu jabs being much lower, so 90+% is pretty bloody good.
it's an incredible achievement all round really.

I was initially responding to @vapesmarter as I said...

As I was finishing off the reply to him - ping your post came through at 7:12
So I then decided to tag or quote you as an example as I said
when I posted the reply at 7:15, 3 minutes later...

You was simply brought in as an example like I said to prove my point
(which is what the figure of speech "I rest my case" means)

If I was responding directly to you, I almost certainly would have posted a response to you and you alone, and likely produced a more lengthy reply. Though I have replied to a couple of people at once, the vast majority of my replies are 1-1
and even on this thread I think I have responded on a 1-1 basis...
Here is an example of me doing this one post to @vapesmarter & another to @Crewella 2 mins later...

(Crewella's post ping came through just prior to me posting - like this post where you was used as an example
I could have incorporated my response to Crewella in the previous post but chose to post them 1-1 as I usually do)
You may find some exceptions to this - but in general I respond directly to people on a 1-1 basis
