For the first 2 years of vaping I kept a spreadsheet that detailed all the money I spent on new kit, juice and accessories in one column and in the next column the cost of 20 ciggies a day. I must admit that I was (still am) a sucker for getting new things. In the early days of vaping things were moving very fast and better products came out every few months. So, in the first 6 months of vaping I actually spent more than I would have on the ciggies. Since then, I've been saving a fortune.Congrats!
I think I've gonna almost the same amount of time without the stinky sticks... And totally agree. I've banned the missus from smoking in both my car and hers (when I'm in it). [emoji38]1: The smell of cigarettes is pretty horrible now. And to think i always used to smell like that....
Vaping definitely doesn't feel like an addiction. Most enjoyable experience.... Well in the usage sense.
My wallet however doesn't feel quite the same. Probably spent the best part of £300 in less than a month since I started vaping
But, as you say, it's not really about the money. It's about feeling better and enjoying yourself. Just remember that vaping is not for everyone, I know plenty of smokers who want to keep smoking.
Good luck on your journey
