Thank you so much for writing this more comprehensive user manual! I created an account for the sole purpose of letting you know my appreciation.

I just got my itaste in the post this morning and was despairing because it just didn't work. I dug around the internet and came across your post and PDF and my problem was solved.

I had previously been using disposable ecigs and because I was used to them, I thought the mere action of sucking on the device (minds out of the gutter please!) would activate the burner and create the vapor, just like how the disposables work. What helped was where you said;

The puff counter increments upwards by one every time the power button is pressed during normal operation, regardless of how long the button is held down.

That made the penny drop - because I'd been using disposable ecigs that do not have power buttons, I didn't realise one had to hold the button down during use. Duh! LOL

You saved me from an embarrassing episode where I argued with the vendor about a faulty unit that wasn't actually faulty. Many, many thanks!
