What's new

Is this a good starter kit?

I used to smoke roll ups(golden Virginia)and tried a tobacco juice early on in my vaping odessey, still have it as I hated it but it's now mixed with other rank tasting juices for use as a 'bedding in coils/wicks' juice as I 'cook' these 2items on the gas hob to get rid of oil from their manufacture.

At least you've found a use for it. I'll never buy 'tobacco flavour' again.

Once you find the kit that works for you, the only cost will be replaceable items (clearos and juice) If you get into advanced stuff and rebuild your own coils and make your own DIY e-liquid...

You will save money. Sometime last year we did a cost analysis amongst the members... I was averaging 2 packs of smokes a day so about £12 x 7... In my first year, while it felt like I was spending copious amounts of money, it averaged out to about £16-18 a week for the year... however, if I were to do it again THIS year, now that I rebuild and make my own e-liquid... I budget myself.....£20 a month (sometimes £40 if I REALLY want something)

I always look for clearane items, mostly buy second hand mods...and only spend on consumables, new batteries, nic base, flavours, wick and wire (I have a sheet of mesh from earlier this year, that I will probably have for another 2 years ;) )

All together, my first year savings was close to 4k...this year it should be alot more :) You just dont notice the savings because you end up like most of us, addicted to new and better possibilities and it becomes a hobby... or you find new things to spend that money on.

My cost should come right down now that I have the full kit. I'm going to have to learn all these money savings tips.

You have a good starter kit there to get you going. I started on the ce4 clearomisers and an ego battery and soon moved to pro tanks and the evods. They are way better then the ce4's but I can't knock them. They give a good vape. I now prefer the cooler, airier draw on the evod and pro tanks though.

As for juice, only you can decide what's best to go for but there are plenty of juice reviews on this site to help you make a decision

I switched from baccy flavours very quickly and now love aniseed and coffee juices best (not together). Although I am still trying out lots of different juices.

Thanks. I'm glad I bought it. I'm looking forward to trying the many eliquid flavours.

I received my Tornado V3 today. Excellent service from Totally Wicked. Just a bit of advice needed please. If anyone can help.

How long should I initially charge the battery for? Should I leave it past the point it turns green?

When the light stays green your good to go bud. Try not to leave charging to long past this point, as you never know.

How far should I be screwing the battery onto the charger? Should I stop screwing as soon as the light changes to red or continue to it's fully screwed on?

I've read somewhere that the connection can be moved.
