Hi people. I count my mechs as seperate to my regulateds, but I liked them due to their simplicity.

If the worst was to happen, and there was no way to get our hands on a regulated mod in the future, and after all mine die, the mechs will be lifesavers, as the are so simple to fix yourself.

I found this, and quite like it, plus I like the price.

The only thing it, is it as dangerous as the cherry bomber? I do NOT want something that will fire if contacted with metal on the outer casing.

If this one is also dangerous, could you point me to a mech that is in that price range, dual parralel, that is SAFER than the cherry bomber style. Ideally this one would be perfect for me.

Its called a Authentic Simeiyue SMY Kung Fu, and here is the link :

Thanks for all your help, I do appreciate it.

I should add I understand the danger behind ALL mechs, I just want one that does not have the flaw of the cherry bomber.

I would imagine it is a hunk of junk. If the wiring is as good as the battery label I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. The likes of a Cherry Bomb mod are safe enough if you understand the conductivity of the device and treat it as such. A Cherry Bomb is probably safer than that thing....it doesn't even state if it has a mosfet fitted for switch protection and I wouldn't trust that on board charger either.

Ahh ok, what is the difference lol? And could you recommend me a dual parralel mech if you know of any?

Unregulated, no chipset or safety built in. However has wires ect

Mech well same as a mech tube.

Have a look at things such as Dimitri Box mods can't think of many solely mech boxes

Have a look at the nookie clone.

It's a mech as it makes contact via copper and not wired and mosfets etc.

I have a clone and it was bloody good quality!

I think there are a few vendors that have them and I'm pretty sure slowtech have them too

It is either this, an abbadon, or something called a foggernaught. The foggernaught is only TWELVE dollars, but I like the look of the nookie clone. Fastech has them for $26, I think its between that or the abbadon, as I would worry about quality of such a cheap clone.

I have been recommended a Smowell DPV, I am going to buy it this month along with the sig. Its a 50W regulated box mod, and because a newer one is out that is 65 watts it can be had from gearbest for 16 dollars.

I have to have one of them, even if it broke after a month, a regulated mod at that price? Plus it will be the only 50W mod I own.

If your looking at something to cover you in the future i would say save and get the Hexhom v2.1 :D

It a very nice box mod, and i will be getting a 2nd one:5:

Best thing about it, all the parts inside it were not made for e-cigs, but instead have been adapted for it.

So ever if they put a ban on all e-cig stuff you could always get the parts to fix it or make a new one:)
