Evening everyone.
I just wanted to post a question as something has been getting me thinking.
Is it normal to take a while to get used to all these different flavour juices ?
I've only been vaping since January after smoking roll ups for nearly 30 years but I find it really difficult to find flavoured liquids that I enjoy.
I started out with the cheap Hangsen ry4 and still use it. Tried other tobacco flavours but always went back to ry4. Then I tried Dekang ry4 and really love that.
Eventually I decided to try other flavours such as custard, cherry, banana, apple , etc etc but find them all disgusting.
The only ones other than ry4 I have found that I like are Cotswold Vapour's Tropical Storm and Iced Mint or Menthol Sensation (which is strange because I never used menthol cigs ).

So basically, if you can tell after my waffle, am I the only one that doesn't like all these complex flavours or does it take time to become accustomed to them ?
Has anyone else had the same problem ?

Taste is subjective m8 an wot one person likes is not for another, I find it can take me a while to like some flavours an others I like straight away an some are just God damn awful :puke: I'm always up for trying new flavours tho so keep trying an u will find wot u like

Vaping a few weeks myself. Not liking a lot of the berry/fruity flavours either. Tried a Heisenberg (mixed fruit/berrys with menthol) it was like vaping Hubba Bubba gum YUCK.
Tobacco flavours now turn my stomach, can't even stand the smell.
Smoked menthol cigs for years so I'm loving the mints... Try peppermint it's awesome, even better than menthol!
Also taking a liking to citrus flavours like lemon so you might want to give that a pop.

Yes we've all been there.
If you like tobacco flavours and ry 4 then Manabush is all you need to know. Get some now and you'll not want anything else.

I tried 2 flavours from Manabush and didn't like them, well actually Nokomis is alright if I dilute it with a mild ry4 , found them way too strong and weird tasting ! Ry6 was too strong for me as well. Maybe I've got a strange pallete! I've lost count of all the different makes and flavours I've tried and hated. It's a good job I've got a mate who will vape anything. :lol1:

Started vaping last year and tried to find a flavour to match my much loved rolling (gv) without much success. Thought all the flavoured stuff was a bit silly and thought I'd stick to tobacco flavours. ...like a good turkish tobacco or marboro clone. Still can't remember when I started trying different flavours, but I do remember that first hit of a good fruit loops through a K1. Now I realise I never actually liked the tobacco flavour and all I really wanted was the nicotine I associated with it. So enjoy the journey. You'll either find the perfect baccie juice or discover your all day vape involves custard and salted caramel one day and kiwis the next. Whatever you enjoy is perfect.

You are not alone, I struggle with complex flavours, I read people describing all sorts of subtle nuances but I rarely taste them!
A lot of it comes down to build and device used but I think some of us just have shot taste buds ( yes shot not sh*t)

I much prefer plainer tobacco and fruit liquids, I don't like custards, donuts and the like.

It is tough. if you like tobacco, you should give house of liquids a try. I don`t know how many liquids I`ve binned, but it`s a lot. I agree with the comment about all the different nuances people get from a liquid because I don`t. I`ve finally decided to stop buying liquids recommended on the forum. The only liquids I really like now are coffee, custards & blackjacks. Also, if I get a liquid I don`t really like, I add to it. For instance, I got a Vampire Pinkman, hated it, added some mint & aniseed and it was 100% better. Good luck with your search.

Its a sign of the times as well I think... Many moons ago you didnt have quite so much choice, Tobacco or RY4 was the initial starting point which lead to Hangsen single flavours or at most 2 mixed... Now we have so much choice its a minefield...
You might want to try simple one flavour juices before you get on to the more hardcore polar bear poop and moon dust varieties..
