Is this normal?

Hi,

I bought a mixing kit and attempted to make my first 10ml mix. Just a simple cream menthol. One flavour for now. I used a mixing calculator to get a 7mg nicotine, 55/45 vg/pg.

I gave every bottle a good shake first. Especially the nicotine (72mg vg base) and mixed all 4 elements together.

Once complete the liquid looks sort of cloudy as if there's millions of tiny tiny bubbles in it. Also, when I smell it I can't smell the flavour, only the same smell I got from the nicotine bottle, only much less intense.

I know I didn't put too much in as I used a 1ml syringe and only used 0.9ml in total.

Will this change after steeping for a few days?

Any advice would be helpful.

What about the smell? Will the flavour come through?

Not my kind of flavours but I would not worry about it for a few days at least.
Many people post about mixes not tasting right, many turn out to be fine after a bit of time.
Sometimes people have just made a rubbish mix.
If you are following someones recipe then you will probably have something that at least somebody likes.
You will get there if you stick at it, If you are fortunate your first mix will be ok.

Give it a few days then test a bit, if the flavour is not there add a bit more, leave a few days and repeat.
Take notes on the ammounts you are adding.

OK. Thank you. I just used a 15% flavour to start with instead of following a recipe. I'll see how it is in a few days and if it's no good, i'll try again with a recipe this time (need to buy more concentrates first). I won't give up though. Its became a hobby which saves me money at the same time. Especially since my first coil build went well today

I find with menthol it smells alot less than it tastes when Vaped but I've never used a premade menthol flavour I just use menthol crystals dissolved in pg.

It does not sound like the hardest mix to get right.
You just have to find the right level of menthol first, then you can play with adding other things with the menthol, you will get it.

Here's hoping. The bottle of flavour smelled really nice. Similar to after eights but i'm only smelling nicotine just now

So it's a mint/menthol not straight menthol, not a big mint fan but before you start adding more let it sit and give it a taste in a day or 2.
