What's new

It finally arrived.

@zouzounaki I poked a bit of kitchen roll around the pin, but I'll put some up the back as well. I might try my one without the airflow adjuster, just some tissue.
I'll build the one I got with it in a while, just to compare, but I had one of those kanger RBA's before and quite liked it.

Get some condensation plugs. That will help. I don't get a lot of condensation in either of mine. A quick wipe each day seems to be fine. If you feel brave enough to follow @Vapaneezer Scrooge's excellent thread on sealing the contact pin its definitely worth doing and actually easier than it seems.

I took the airflow adjuster off the first time I had the tank out, it’s useless. I’d say whip them off and go with the insert for restricting airflow. It’s the better way to do it.

Yeah, the airflow adjuster is crap on the clones. It spins too freely. Anyway, it's not really needed.

Yes, condensation plugs and sealing the pin are definitely on the cards, I can see a couple of purchases going @Vapaneezer Scrooge's direction.

Right, that's it gone then, thanks for the tips.

Totally agree.

Nice one, I only have one full set left printed but a few spares of the medium MTL and Medium, Large DTL's, I'm doing panels for the next few days but will stock up on some more plugs after that.

Is the plug worth using? I’m thinking about one, but not sure it will be any better than a bit of cotton, especially since I’ve not sealed the pin (yet, I’ll probably do it at some point. Just need to get some appropriate glue...)

The other thing to remember is @Vapaneezer Scrooge mentioned somewhere about using cooker hood? Filters cut up to go behind the Boris which are far more effective than kitchen roll at soaking up juice, I'm sure he will be along to explain better and I can say first hand it is a more effective solution. Cheers
