Blimey, fourth attempt with a starter kit and a few concentrates and this one actually tastes good.

Trouble is I just *know* it could probably be better. How the hell do you know when to stop tweaking it? Is this a never ending search for the Holy Grail? Will I ever be content? Am I doomed to spend the rest of my days seeking perfection?

Is there a support group?

I've been tweaking my tobacco mix for 18 months. Having found a tobacco I liked, I had an idea in my head of what I wanted.

It now contains 8 ingredients and I'm almost happy, but still have a couple of things I want to try. The problem is that it takes 2 months steeping for the juice to be at its best.

So, you probably are destined (not doomed) to spend the rest of your days seeking perfection.

Once you have a mix you find acceptable, it's time to make a larger batch, and use samples from that to make smaller samples with various tweaking ideas. There's no need to wait through successive steeping times to try out every little variation.

Say you make 50ml of your basic juice. Keep 30ml (or whatever) for vaping as it is, and divide the other 20ml (or whatever) into little bottles, and perform your tweaks on them. Test them in a dripper, and remember to keep everything well noted and labelled.

Bear in mind, though, that the smaller the sample, the harder it is to be accurate with your proportions, so once a variation shows promise, do another test with a sensible amount and test it again before mixing up gallons of the stuff...
