So my Vamo v3 kit from Fasttech just arrived, this kit to be exact. I have a couple of worries.

I went with this kit because it came with an Nitecore i2 which I had heard many people say was a quality charger, however after about an hour and a half the charger is getting warm to hot on the bottom of the device while charging two 18650s, im guessing it shouldn't be doing this?

I also have a protank 2 which i'm using on the Vamo and after a little test when it first arrived I cant seem to get a pull on it at all, there is just no air flow, I have to unscrew it a little bit to get any but then I am worried about it snapping off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is my first upgrade from a 650mah eGo so I am pretty new to the mod scene.

what kiind of 3 pin adapter are you usinig to plug the nitecore in?

If the protanks are still tight, take them apart and check the silicone is not pushing up against the wick holes and blocking them. If the air holes are in the threading versus on the side of the bottom bit, there isn't much you can do... use something else :)

Pick of your set up would be able to help us out a lil more too?

Chargers get warm while they are charging that's normal. If it gets hot to touch then that's bad, but warm is fine. Please make sure you use a proper 3pin UK plug and not a 2 pin Euro/US plug into some kind of adapter though.

ProTank airflow on a Vamo came up in this thread here which might help you out, it's caused by the 2 airholes in the screwthread getting sealed inside the threads when the tank is screwed on tight, either your vamo threads are a little bit too big, or the ProTank threads are a little too short.

Picture of the setup: http://imgur.com/nXwYEZw (Sorry about imgur link, was just the easiest way to get it off my phone)

Ive swapped out the euro cable they gave me in the box for my UK ps3 cable which uses the same socket. It didn't get as hot with this new wire but it was still warm.

Warm is fine, it's if it gets to the point that its uncomfortable to touch.

Also look at getting a charging bag...a fire proof bag to place over the charger in the event something does go wrong. Not many of these batteries or chargers go wrong in a bad way often, but its always best to be prepared.

The PS3 cable should be fine and is much better and safer than the adapter.

and I cant tell from your picture, but there is no real need to turn and turn and turn the protank until it sits flush with the vamo, and then get a torque wrench and add another 90degrees.

just turn it on till it connects electrically, and doesnt wobble about. If you are turning it till it sits flush, that could well be a cause of your restricted airflow.

If those are Panasonics then great battery choice!

The Fasttech website said they are sony branded batteries, not sure if thats good or bad.

@KulrMeStoopid I will look into the bag, I would like to be able to charge these overnight, need them to last through a full day at uni. Would hate for something to go wrong in the night.
Vern I think that was the problem I threaded it down less then I was originally doing and it seems to be ok now, little bit of wobble but it should be fine. If I know it will sit in my pocket over a long period of time I will just take the tank off or screw it down a little more and then unscrew when I need to use it.

Never charge them overnight :) Thats a major "rule" about charging these kinds of batteries.

Charge them until they are full and remove them from the charger. It takes about 4 hours on a Nitecore with an 18650 battery.

These batteries will hold a 4.2-4.0v charge for quite some time (days even) so leaving them on overnight wouldnt be necessary.

Days sounds good, ill always have a spare on me so lasting shouldn't be too much of an issue then, ill just charge them before bed :)
