What's new

Just watched Scott's latest vid using a micro coil

Let us know how you get on with your t2 as mine has been sitting lifeless for months after giving up with hot spots/legs etc so this looks worth a go

I did a micro coil on my vivi nova last night too, vapour is smooth but I think, like you, that I put too many coils on as production is slow to get started. Too slow for me at least.

How about a dual silica wick or a silica U-wick?

I've had success with both of them before...and with another T2 shortly on its way I'll be having one of them as a ribbon 1ohm dual-silica for certain.

I'll be trying dual microcoil silica wicks soon enough, cannot the wait, shall report my findings.

This one was made using 0.3mm kanthal this evening. Seems to work ok but it's over-wicking a touch.

I had a do today with a micro coil. What's the crack with the coils having to touch tho? I always thought that you had to space out the coils a bit to make sure that they're not touching. Anyway, I wrapped my coil nice and tight round a precision screwdriver, all nice and bonny then flamed it with the blow torch to keep them in place. Then I threaded some 2.5mm silica through the middle and assembled it on my igo w which then resulted in the coils separating themselves slight anyway.

I must say tho that the vape is good. Definitely on a parr with my sub ohm coils, and like others have said it is a "smooth" vape. It's hard to explain but you'll know what I mean if you try it.

Next time I do it tho I'll attach the coil to the atty before I thread the silica through.

Yeah might have a go, just gotta smash the post out to accommodate for some silica but my kayfun should be hear tomorrow so will probably be loving that of for a while but good idea for go if I fancy hurting the t2 like it deserves lol
