I bought one of these to go with my istick and I must say Im extremely disappointed! Yes it works very well on both rba and manufactured unit but it leaks very badly on both options. Ive reverted back to my original protank 3 until I sort out my genesis. What a waste of money!

I've heard a lot of newer subtank users say this. Where is it leaking from? The AFC or around d the glass? Admittedly I have 2 from the v1 lot and never had any leaks. Leaking seems to be down to a handful of things. Either the juice is too thin and flooding out the atty (use 50/50 up to 70vg), the o rings aren't making a seal (take em out, clean them and reinsert or replace with the spares and make sure everything is tightened down) or the wicking in the rba is inadequate. Don't know what more to suggest really as I say it's the most reliable tank in my collection so it's disappointing that new buyers seem to be having a rough time of it.

Thanks for replying beastie. The juice seems to be coming from around the air intake, hard to tell if its the big seal or actually coming out of the air intake holes. Can I be really stupid and ask what the vg is and how I can tell?

I have taken the red seals off and cleaned and I thought this had helped until I noticed the juice all over the battery again.

Referring to the constituents of eliquid. Vg = vegetable glycerine thicker part of liquid, PG = propylene glycol. Usually a bottle of eliquid will state the ratio. Thinner juices tend to have more PG, thicker juices more VG. PG heavy juices tend to flood attys especially those designed for subohming. @banjo69

Thanks for that, I'll check that out and I'll strip the tank and clean everything

i`ve had three of these tank and still use two of them everyday with no probs at all with either the rba or coils fitted never had a leak i guess i must be lucky

I hate wicking the subtank RDA. Such a pain in the backside. Not enough and it floods. Use to much and no airflow. Never had any issues with stock coils tho:)

Hi all, stripped the tank right down and cleaned it and the leak has stopped and Im getting a much better smoke as well. Thanks to all who replied. much appreciated
