Keeping your nicotine refrigerated?

When I bought my ingredients for my first mix the nicotine was kept in a refrigerator and they told me that this was the best place for it. I'm assuming this is good info but I thought I would check what some of the community had to say.

Nicotine breaks down into other stuff over time, in the presence of heat, light and oxygen.

You can keep nic in a sealed container in a cupboard for well over 2 years, with little to no degradation.

If you keep it in the feezer that's the best place, but any cool dark cupboard is fine. Dark glass bottles with as little air in there as possible is also good, but.

See this page from ECF. (dvap is a chemist)

Basically, if you're going to use it within a year or so, it doesn't really matter that much.

just don't mistake it for milk , crunchy nut tobacco now there's a thought

Just got some nic 72 mixed with PG and some mixed with VG, now i know i can store the PG one in the freezer as it wont freeze and split the bottle, but can i store the VG mix in the freezer ??
