@nialb79 . That is precisely what was happening mate, it would either just run off or just sit on top of the cotton and wasn't absorbing at all. Will try some of the suggested remedies and see what transpires if I ever get around to trying the Kendo again now llooll

@allen . I tested it with a piss thin 20% VG as well mate, it wouldn't wick that up either lol.
@Ment. When I was previously searching for Kendo I was presented with options of that black cotton. Alarm bells immediately started ringing in my mind to stay well away and I avoided that one. You actually vaped it lol?? I bet that was funky!!??? Containing Carbon is some scary shit to be directly inhaling
. I bet some vapers see it and think "that's different, black Kendo, I'll have some of that", without so much as a thought of any adverse affects or issues!!
.........Aaahhhh hell, sod it lol. I've gone on a cotton spree to finally have a wide and varied choice of different more specialist cottons available instead of Cotton Bacon here and there and Muji doing the rest . It's time for a BIG change with my wicking and one that should very much be for the better and better vaping from it

Having loads of all of these different types of cottons stops me being tight with the cotton when I build as well and I tend to build MUCH better wicks if I'm not worrying about making it last or running out . That problem is certainly bloody solved now too, that's for sure .
Vapor Royalty and Fuzion are always a royal sod to get hold of, I've finally managed to track down some Fuzion in stock, was a PITFA though lol. Everytime I look for Vapor Royalty as well, all out of stock. Vapor Royalty site has ONE product in stock. "The Tank", a tank/RBA specialist which as it happens is something I really need for my RBA decks and trying a specialist cotton for this purpose could be ideal. The rest of Vapor Royalty are almost always out of stock though lol. Another website has some Vapor Royalty "The Native" version, got some of that too whilst they still had it lol. Got some Native Wicks coming as well.
If I don't use it for vaping I'll have enough to make a frikkin king size quilt

If it's obviously clear I definitely won't use a specific type of the cottons I've ordered after extensive trials, I'll donate or sell it super cheap to someone starting out with building who's short on cash .
Vaping outlaws and Fibre Freaks works out at about a £1 a Muji sized pad lol. I'd rather spend the money on speculation of a load of different cottons you get a decent amount of for your money to be honest llooll

. Problem solved in a slightly different and more expensive way lol

I have several drippers on the way from FT, so I've got a ton of atty's to try all this stuff out in and then pick the best one for my drippers and the best one for the RBA's for my tanks and then have some extra variety to try out with different liquids and builds too. Muji is taking a back seat from now on and I'll have enough damn consumables to easily last me well over a couple of years

Might as well vape with the best instead of just accepting Muji. I'm pretty handy with the Muji after using it for so long and it's actually done a good job, but it's definitely time for something better and different
