So i really want a kraken.. But have no idea about genisis tanks etc.. I have a helios and nimbus but feel like upping to the next stage but have no clue about it.. Is it going to be really complicated to learn?

I have ordered a Kraken clone and I don't think it should be much harder to wick/build. I mean you have to build your own coil and stuff so it's essentially the same way build. From what i've seen the only noticeable change is you need to make a longer wick so it can dip into the tank. Don't take my word on it though haha

Currently vaping on my kraken clone :D

4-5 wraps of kanth wire at 0.30mm thickness. Wrap it round a drill bit or similar skinny thing.Stick it on the posts and shove your cotton wool through the and down to the bottom of the tank ;)

Ive but a bit extra length in for the cotton wool so it snakes round the tank a bit ;) also means i dont have to replace it if somehow i singe the bit in the coil as i can pull it up a bit and snip it off :P

Works for me :D

It's quite easy with silica or cotton thread like "rico fashion summer", instead of having your wick on the deck like the drippers, you have a longer wick that goes down into the tank.
It does start to get a bit more tricky/fiddly when you want to start using steel rope or mesh.
Got mine (clone) running on a single 1.7 ohm coil and the above cotton thread, and it storms along.

Thanks for that little tip Pepper,
I kept singeing mine, and was taking the lot out.

How you getting on with the cotton genny Pepper,i think they are awesome and only use cotton in gennys now,i do the same thing with the long wick so i can just pull it out a bit and cut the top off, win.

Fab :) my cotton is still going strong in it :)

But in my "mod handbag" i carry a spare ball just in case ;)

Cotton genny? Second oxymoron I've seen on here today :)

The Kraken is a genesis atomiser, it uses stainless steel mesh or rope for a wick. Anything else and it's not a genesis. Four coils around the wick, takes less than two minutes, what could be simpler. It's dead easy rawx, once you get used to a genny you won't want anything else. And the eight quid FT clone is every bit as good as the real thing if your worried about spending too much money and maybe not liking it.

its not super difficult can be a little frustrating at first though if you wanna know about gennies I would refer you to a guy here whos like master of the gennies Seedy we need some help here fella
