Lockdown V3

You’re just nit-picking. Some people aren’t able to run or cycle. You’ve had sciatica, I vaguely remember.... were you able to run, cycle or do your push-ups then? Walking is my form of exercise, while the swimming pools aren’t open, it’s all I’m physically able to do. There are many people who are elderly or disabled in some way who go walking to keep themselves as mobile as they can.
Yes, I know I'm nit picking. I'm in a "funny" mood today. :)2
I can do push up's and exercise and work when I have sciatica, I just grit my teeth and go for it :D
The sciatica part of my back problem isn't too restrictive when I get it. When my back "goes" that's a different story.
I realise walking is all some can do as proper strenuous exercises would be impossible, just merely stating that a cardiac doctor told me that they don't class walking as exercise as it generally doesn't get your heart pumping hard enough or fast enough. Atleast not for someone of my age and fitness level.

My sarcastic playful sense of humour is obviously wasted on a few people here :D

It is, if you walk fast enough, far enough, up hills, start sweating, and shit.

I don't suppose that sort of walking is what they meant but I take your point. Don't see many going at that pace round town with a polystyrene cup of fake coffee in their hands.

i know what your saying andi and agree wholeheartedly this lockdown is just crazy everyone knows how bad it is (apart from some flat earth muppets) but it's like everyone is numb I know I am. its a coping mechanism I know I'm going to get it there is no doubt I'm scared to death to bring it home with me, mentally wise it's doing damage I've just had a range of tests because I am waking up at night drenched in sweat reliving the day but its all negative waiting on an x-ray result but it looked fine when I saw it in imaging.

but what can you do some people go out to take a coffee and sit on a bench for 10mins or go for a walk etc I expect last time those people were holed up for 4 months climbing the walls

I may well be a "flat earther" but that does not mean that I am a bloody muppet !

That's a difficult one really. Sitting on a bench having a cuppa is not an essential reason to be away from home. I'm guessing she was arrested because she wouldn't give any details to the police so left them no option. That's the law, covid or not.
She was probably using the "exercise " excuse to be outside , I don't know about you but I don't stop mid exercise to have a cuppa !
I've always said that the exercise clause would be taken advantage of.
Perhaps the police are being ordered to do these things to try and persuade the general public to get a grip. Who knows.

Nice one mate.................
So you don't stop to sit down for a few minutes during exercise.
Try living my life, weak legs due to a variety of illness's, so I have to sit down for a rest after about 500 yards, on a day like yesterday it was 0 degrees outside, so if there is a coffee shop near a bench I would have one.
Not everybody is as fit as you, or had military training. :)

He is..... and why I didn't bother replying, for many people walking is about the only exercise they are capable of. I get out of breath going upstairs to bed because of lung damage and COPD, so walking along the flat is the best and most enjoyable exercise for me and yes, I may have to stop occasionally to sit on a bench. If that's not acceptable to anyone then they can fuck right off. :)

of course he did, he was talking about cardio-vascular exercise, like i already told you. the regulations permit exercise.
