Lockdown V3

All Governments are corrupt, but to cash in on a National Emergency, is a New Low, even for the Tories !!!

it should be a huge scandal. the landlord of hancock’s former local landed a £30 million contract for supplying glass vials, after contacting him on whatsapp, with no previous experience supplying medical equipment ffs. his company apparently makes polystyrene boxes for takeaways. one example of many.

is this belief based on anything factual? i think it’s very unlikely. i’ve followed all the rules, for example, but i didn’t vote tory, or snp in scottish election. i don’t know anybody personally who would vote tory, but i also don’t know anybody who’s really been flaunting the rules, and certainly not for this reason.
Nothing factual, just my own observation from what I see. I have a circle of friends that are pretty divided on their political slant. Quite a few will do their best to follow the guidelines and rules. The ones that dont mainly stick their two fingers up at the Tories blaming them for everything that is taking place.

I'll just leave this here for you !!!

yeah, that doesn't ring true for me either. I actually think the opposite is more likely. (amongst people I know anyway)

That might be because people who vote Tory hardly ever admit to it, at least away from the internet they don't.

they also aren’t that common about here. there is a lot of anti tory sentiment. i think less that 10% of votes at elections.

UK Coronavirus LIVE: Covid vaccine for Queen as record cases and deaths mean ‘lockdown needs to be stricter’

England’s third national lockdown needs to be made “stricter", scientists have said, as the number of coronavirus cases and deaths across the UK continues to hit record highs.
Professor Robert West, a participant in the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Behaviours (SPI-B), said the current restrictions are “still allowing a lot of activity which is spreading the virus”.
He told the BBC: “Because we have the more infectious variant, which is somewhere around 5 per cent more infectious than last time round in March, that means that if we were to achieve the same result as we got in March we would have to have a stricter lockdown, and it’s not stricter. It’s actually less strict."
His warnings came as the Government launched a hard-hitting campaign, led by Boris Johnson and Chris Whitty, warning that “people will die” if the public do not obey lockdown rules.
