Hi All,

Been vaping MTL for almost 5 years, my reason for vaping is solely to stay off the cigs. Therefore I’m only really interested in something simple that I can pick up as I want, vape it and put it back down again.

In the last year or so with the boom in pods and AIO’s I thought all my prayers had been answered, however I’m struggling to find a pod/aio that gives me great flavour from high VG juice.

My best ever set up for flavour has been a Nautilus X tank with the extended glass and chimney (don’t ask me why but the extra glass and chimney made a huge difference in flavour from the 1.8 coil) However i get fed up of cleaning the tanks, and the chimney on a weekly basis, plus the bulk of having to use a mod, hence me going down the pod/aio route.

I have tried quite a few and none ever come up to the flavour I desire, the closest was a Uwell Caliburn, but the pod is only 2ml and you get lots of excess juice with them leaving juice on your lips or in your mout quite regularly, I have tried most of the Aspire one, from a form factor the Breeze NXT seemed ideal (its a great system) however me and mesh coils don’t get on, i tend to get chesty with them for some reason ? I have ended up with a Uwell Crown Pod, the functionality and everything about it is fine, except I find the taste just not quite there ?

I have ordered the new Aspire BP 60 but I’m unsure if I will be able t MTL on the 0.6 coil ?

I’m getting to the point of craving a cig, I know I could maybe go back to the Nautilus X, but I detest the fuss that goes with tanks and mods etc, the cigs seem more tempting.

So can anyone else recommend a pod/aio that delivers on flavour and is fuss free ?

I tend to vape mainly Premium Lab juices (especially Vega) and go through around 8 or 9ml a day, which are high VG 75/25 and think this may be an issue ? Could I just have vapours tongue as well ?

i highly rate the vaporesso PM80 (internal battery) or the newer PM80SE (single 18650)
great flavour with a variety of coils to suite all tastes. 70vg is the highest i use so not sure how some of the coils would be with 75vg
bought in uk it comes with 2ml pods but i bought 4ml from cloudstix.

i bought 2 which cost £29.99 each but great deal here at mo

Hi

I was actually going to suggest the PM30, the younger brother of the pm80.
As u vape more mtl with hugh vg i think the airflow would be better suited.
As mentioned above Mr DJ the is a whole host.of coils to choose from.

I would have also suggest the Zeta or Omega but if you dont like mesh coils too much then maybe not ideal.
I mainly use pods and aio but for mtl using 50/50 juices.
You seem to be.looking for something to be used with 70 vg plus but in mtl,

You could also look into:

Vaporesso xtra, check juice compatibility with 0.8 coil
The Geekvape Wenax is awesome with 0.6 coils, nice tighter draw very good flavor

Let me know if u have any questions on the above

What do you think about the SMOK & OFRF NexMesh pod? It looks kinda similar to the Zeta and just releases recently. I'm planning to switch to open pod systems because there are many flavours I want to try.

The Voopoo Drag S (even the X) may fit all your needs
You can find mesh and regular coils for the that, but mesh ones are far way better IMHO.

MTL and mesh are compatible ;)

Hey

I have not tried either of those ones. Try the review section maybe another member has reviewed.
Which smok specifically?

The NexM Pod Kit
But im sure that will not fit what hes looking for.

And the coil options is small compared to Vaporesso and Voopoo (another good thing about the GTX devices is that they can use also the Voopoo ones, however not the other way round)

First off you'll struggle to find a amtl coil that can keep up wicking at 70+vg. I'm reviewing one that can but flavour is muted.ALso reviewing the Vapefly TGO set up with the 0.6ohm coil but that is RDL at best with main airflow closed but plenty of flavour. The Voopoo Drag series is great but again not sure if the PnP MTL coils would keep up with 70-75vg. Another is the Joyetech Exceed Grip Plus but I've not tried the 1.2ohm coil yet & looking at the wick holes again that may struggle but airflow can be tightened down. ALso these are all pod style so the pod itself will require washing out, although most have spare pods available so easy to keep one fresh & one ready. Mesh has become the norm due to it's speed of heating up & lower power requirements & generally better flavour.

I don’t know too much about pods, the one I use at work is the Vaporesso Xtra, the .8 meshed coils are great, really good flavour for mouth to lung and can handle 70vg, haven’t tried harder. Best stock coils for mtl in my opinion
