Leave it at least overnight then try it, then again every few days. The longer you leave it the better it will get



Does the peppery taste disappear in a steep? As far as I knew if you were a VBIC pepper taster it was just unfortunate, I think the compound used to make the vanilla in it is also found in capsicums which is what some people pick up. CAP VBIC doesn't give the pepper taste to "pepper tasters" as a sub.

It does for me as I only get it very slightly, and only with tpa vbic.

I tend to use liquid barn vanilla ice cream now as it's a shorter steep but it also fades quicker for me.

it is still out there on google but we cant talk about it on a public forum.

18mg nic shots are fine if you are mixing 3mg or max 6mg nicotine strength but any higher than that it just weakens the flavours.
so for example. if you are making 50ml zero nicotine liquid you add 1 bottle of 18mg nic shot and it makes 60ml of 3mg nic.

Yes it's true peppery taste is from gone off nic but there are also a lot of people who get it from TPA VBIC, which is because of the compounds used as I mentioned before. It's just one of those things like how some vapers (including me) can't taste strawberry flavours.

That above link is interesting as didn't know TFA vanilla bean give peppery taste as well. I've been lucky so far as only used it 4 times and not affected the taste yet.

If you don't taste the pepper now then it's likely you never will. I think it's one of those things you either have it or you don't.

I tried it after a couple of days and it was ok but after a week it was much nicer and a month in it is scrummy. I have had some steeping for a couple of months and the creamy banana flavour is very prominent.

I reckon the sweet spot is 2/4 weeks.

It really is lovely stuff.

Chefs flavour concentrates seem good value to me and recommend coconut, cookie dough ice cream and Devon cream. Used at 15% they all have different slants on a creamy taste and cookie dough mixed with Devon cream (50/50 of both juices made already)....yum! I also find them ok to use day after making.

It's good off the shake but will only get better in time. If it lasts long enough try it every 2/3 days until you find your personal sweet spot. Or if it won't you can always mix up an extra one to forget about it for 2 weeks and try it side by side with a fresher one.
