Lost Vape Therion 510 problem

Not sure if anyone can help, one of my Therion BF DNA75c has a problem with the depth of the 510 connection, the pin is sitting too deep to connect with most of my RDA's, it's about 0.5mm lower than my other one which takes RDA's fine, you can see the problem underneath where the bottle goes as it's lower than the other one.

I think the spring inside is too long or somethings got inside.

I can't see how I can get it out to strip it down as it looks like you need a special tool? They aren't allen keys or phillips. Here's a photo from the web of the screws:

Anyone got any ideas?

Try depressing the pin. If it moves down then returns it's unlikely to be the spring but it may cracked. The pin may be stuck down if it's gone off centre, a thin blade screwdriver between pin & side wall may free it (on battery in obviously). Some atties have longer 510's and can compress the mod pin too far.

The spring action is working fine, it's just not rising back up all the way, I measured it with a vernier and compared the gap to my RDA's and it's a fraction too short.

If I push it from the base underneath (inside the mod) there's some tension there and it's like there's some obstruction.

Mate if you have no luck in sorting this out, send it me and i will cut and drill and shape a new 510 i have so it fits and looks the same as the one fitted. But you pay postage here and back to yourself.
As i'm sure i have the bits that fit those screws (star shaped)

The photos on there help explain my problem, it actually appears to have a rubber insert for the 'spring loaded' so more like a rubber action, in my case it's too long at the bottom half with the pin set into the rubber.

The bottom should be recessed but it's protruding on mine.

That's a very generous offer thank you :)

Stealth Vape's diagram is superb, I just measured mine as it's protruding and it's 16mm so as I thought it's pushed down 0.6mm.

I'm not sure how it's assembled but it's it rubber mounted I'm guessing it's a press fit, if I can get the bugger off I reckon I can fix it, I will take some better photo's of the screws, if they are torx screws they look very small and coarse.
