Lost Vape Therion 510 problem

Sorry forgot to mention, in the meantime I have found an RDA that works on it, the Coral V2 without the beauty ring has a longer 510, it's not my choice RDA for it but at least I can use the mod while I try and sort it out.

@Vapaneezer Scrooge On most squonk 510's the bottom collar is threaded so unscrews. This allows access to the spring & pin. If you look at the Fat Daddy ones on stealthvape or Modmakers website for their 510 it should make sense. Heat can knacker the internal spring causing it to break, depending on where will determine how much travel there is.

So you don't think it's a rubber mounted sleeve? I've tried the spring action on the other working one and it feels more rubbery than springy compared to my other mods if that makes sense?

If it unscrews then it should be even easier to sort :)

Not sure if anyone can help, one of my Therion BF DNA75c has a problem with the depth of the 510 connection, the pin is sitting too deep to connect with most of my RDA's, it's about 0.5mm lower than my other one which takes RDA's fine, you can see the problem underneath where the bottle goes as it's lower than the other one.

I think the spring inside is too long or somethings got inside.

I can't see how I can get it out to strip it down as it looks like you need a special tool? They aren't allen keys or phillips. Here's a photo from the web of the screws:

Anyone got any ideas?
Should you need a cheat. I've found these invaluable during my time squonking

For 60p per 10, they are a lifesaver. They sit behind the head of the 510 screw on your rda and elongate the pin without loosening the deck.
I've found no two rda' s are alike and often have short pins that refuse to make a sturdy contact or won't make contact with a beauty ring. You can use a few as long as the pin is long enough. If not for a quid or two you can buy packs of longer pins from ft too.
Cheaper and safer to play around with an rda than a mod.

Superb - sounds like a great workaround - added to my FT basket thank you :)
Need to save up to afford them though 60 pence! + import duty and PO 'admin' fee lol

Inside a squonk 510. The spring can collapse which could explain the rubbery feel.

To set you mind at rest, I had a hadeon arrive from ft yesterday. Still no custom charges, lol.

Yeah my first delivery came through no fees marked at $20 - I'm filling my basket so even if I do get caught the value and savings still make it worth it even if I do get hit.
