These 2 just arrived. I am a ( sadly, very, gunky e-liquid) experienced berserker mini v1 user, 1 or 2 builds /day since last year this time
1. Dvarw ( FT, the single one with all inserts) : mind boggling fine finish for a clone, i was extremely surprised.
I've put a 1 ohm 2.5ID ni80 28Ga, the taste is good, on par (-ish) or better ( well...depends) with the zerk mini but @ 7-8 W more with 1 mm insert.
It is seated on a SS finned heatsink which is further isolated from the mod with a 0.5 POM disk.
It gets so hot it beats Oumier VLS. I mean if i draw 7 draws at 15 W, my skin gets burned on HS and drip tip.Scary.
No shorts, the taste is very good, vapor production good, it just gets insanely hot far too fast. ???? I really want to make this one work.
2. Holic : very very tasty- prolly like the rdta. Trully pretty, really. Nice finish.
The airflow gimmicks are just gimmics, and annoying - either loose af or ... slighlyy less than fk on smallest hole, what i wanted was just all gimmics off, smallest airflow only, tight draw.
Made a scot roll from kendo gold (15-20 draws between drips). 15 W ~ 1 ohm/2.5ID ni80 28ga. Yeah, 28ni80, my thing.
It is very loose . Unlike the dvarf- which is 100% shut if i put the thumb on the air intake, if i close all the air holes on Holic , i can do a draw similar with second largest hole on the berserker ( or, like 1.2 mm on dvarw). It doesn't get completely shut even with airholes closed, fingers on the holes.
It whistles like hell, and it gets super hot too, and very fast ( no surprise here, fk ton of metal cap).
The base o-rings are a pita when I remove/put back the cap for dripping, they're lubed, still hard to mount the cap and turn it.
Support is giving me sht, so here i am asking, wth should i do. It is not normal to actually be able to inhale air with metal on metal all air intakes set to off, right?
