What's new

Made my MVP flushhhhh :)

ahhhh

on a drill press?

I used a drill press for this as its a bit easier, but I've stuck it on a normal drill for other jobs and it works just fine. Guides itself really well.

Sure you would have no troubles for doing this.

ahh cheers

Ere have you come across anything about replacing the button on the MVP2? Can't find nothing on it. Nor a suitable replacement.

Looks a bit tricky sitting flush on the circuit board and I've buggered mine up.

Pretty sure there was a thread on here not so long ago, where someone had the same problem actually!

Getting to it is easy, as you may have already found out....but finding the right replacement could be.

What have you done to the switch? It doesn't work completely?

yeh - i was on the other thread

it still works - just.

i lost a bit out of the middle and replaced with a slip of metal ;-) But would be great just to wack on something easier to press. Just looking at LED switches, hmmm.

Can't believe no-one has done it considering all the complaints about how hard the button is to press.

maybe see why noone has replaced the switch - the back of the circuit board it sits on has no holes - might be tricky fixing another in

Duffloop

I can try and take another pic next time I see the new owner. :)

I'd say just go for it.

If you want it flush like this one, you will have to hack away some of the metal frame thing on the inside next to the 510 hole.

If you spend some time and remove enough you can position it more centrally than it will allow you without doing so.

Good luck and pics please!
