Gonna try my hand at trying to make my own juice, getting some VG today from well known chemist and gonna order some concentrates and PG, and have also got the mixing calculators (3 of them) but i'm am still quite worried about attempting to make my own juice.

The worst that can go wrong is it tastes like crap. Aslong as you dont slush nic around your fine :-)

Jump in, I still need to myself but I have 3 years of juice here :-(

Once you buy you concentrates, check back and ask advice on what % of concentrates to use. My biggest mistake with mixing was mixing inawa's spearmint concentrate at 10% (which is the right amount to my taste for Capella concentrates), the spearmint at this level nearly made me sick lol, 3% is plenty. It's easier to mix than you think. Stick to single flavours the first few batches so you learn how they taste alone, before you combine them with other flavours. Good luck but you will be fine, also write down what you do each time ie the amounts of nic, vg etc etc etc as this will help you to define your mixes exactly to how you like them.

I use POTV's own calculator, it allows you to add the percentages of flavouring as you work, then the newest version also includes a notes area so you can write in say"capella flavour is 3%. Fantasy bakes is 10%" etc to remind you next batch of juice mixing. I thought I'd struggle too when I first started mixing, but the various calculators made it so easy, if you can measure mls with an accurate device like a syringe, that's all you need to do. I've been mixing my own juices for about 6 months, and it is so easy I get bored rapidly so let my 18 yr old daughter do it or my gf. It really is so easy almost anyone can do it.

Lol we all say that.
Take your time and have your recipe ready so you just need to add amounts needed.
Have a cup of water ready, to flush out your syringe to clear any flavourings.
Have some kitchen roll for laying syringes on or mopping up.
Do 1 mix at a time, as its easy to forget what you have already added to a bottle.

I did exactly the same thing with raspberry I've got 200 ml of it now, tasted like poop at 10 % so had to dilute to 4% added some chocolate flavour and now it's great and won't be running out anytime soon

*There's alot of people coming down with coughs*

*I know, that bloke walked off mumbling something about needing nicotine*

*oh, I think he should quit smoking if hes bought that much Glycerin for his throat*

& Repeat

I love to wind up the lass in the chemist, she rarely asks me what it's for now since my response to why I wanted 1 ltr of vg was to add to my secret stash of nitro, and did she know whether it was 1 part nitro to 3 parts glycerin to get the best bang. I'm an utter chunt to go shopping with as I usually fire out the daftest responses to what I consider idiotic questions, as even if I did know what the actual ingredients of nitroglycerin were, and the real reason I was buying vg was to make an explosive, even the dumbest bomber wouldn't tell some till operative and even if they were told it WAS to make a bomb, what could they do?

Out of curiosity has anyone tried telling them it is for creating vape juice, because you are concerned that some of the vape juice on the market is very poor quality and you prefer to know what is going in to the product you are using?
