Can't be arsed to look up all the specs, or go into an intricate study back by facts and reason at the mo', as I spent the weekend at vapefest surrounded by beardy types, and that was just the wimmin, and then got home to be locked out of my own house for thirteen hours.

Anyway, got this set up in about five minutes yesterday, cutting an existing wick down to size, and doing a four wrap of .20mm kanthal, this is so easy to set up, it is an outrage. I purchased it for the princely sum of £129, and if that astounds or offends you, I don't care, get out more, spend your money on your family, cars, or prostitutes, or even be huggy with speeding vehicles.

The inside of the tank reminds me of a Cylon mothership from the Battlestar Galactica documentaries they used to show on BBC2, and then on #yourtorrentproviderofchoicecourtesyofthescifichannel#.

As you may be able to see, my wick is unbelievably short, but performs superbly, much like the actor, Peter Dinklage, yet there is no dryness to this performance, which could be down to the juice distribution afforded by the tapered innards of the beast.

At approx 1.4ohms, with about five or six different tanks of different flavours through just the one set up thus far, the flavour and vapour are going strong still. The 1.2mm airhole and the 3mm wick hole (I think), provide a perfect draw with maximum taste. Honestly, the flavour is intense, without appearing to burn or discolour the juice as of yet, could be because of the 2.1ml juice capacity doesn't give it a chance to, buggered if I know, but the vapour is both cooler than I would expect, yet better for it, very peculiar, but good peculiar.

Excuse the state of the photos, etc, the drip tip shown is separate to the atty, it is a Good Sense Vapour drip tip from C9V, anyway, best tasting geni I have had, flavour is different to, but rivals, if not betters, any other form of device, be it a silica Kayfun type affair, dripping, what have you. The reduced space in the top cap probably helps.

Is this worth it? To me it is. Would I recommend it? Absolutely.

Storming review. I didnt understand half of it, but understood 50% more than usual :P

Seriously though thanks.

On a sidenote, no PoTV wimmin had beards :)

By the way, this will not be available to order from the rocketsciencemods website until about late September, I think, also, the dude offers a lifetime warrantee. There will be an alternative top cap available for sale too, at some point, it will have a less reduced chamber, so those that want to utilize u wicks, or double wicks, can do so, but, you don't really need to. And, no flooding issues to speak of so far either.

Shout out to @Carlos, as yer here, what do you reckon so far, after a couple o days use, buddy?

A few specs off Matt after my post mate. Ok my views
as with the doodlebug it's one of the easiest atties to set up
the pryrex long dt is awesome,
I prefer this over the doodle as its a lot lighter and I do find the flavour it gives a lot better as well.
Is she a keeper oh yes, even though I sold the doodle, that only went due to the weight, it was way to heavy as good as it is.

So a few specs from Matt

Whar are the main differences between this and the Doodlebug? Anyone got both that give a direct comparison.

I have

Ok, a few 'Rocket' details & specs for those that are interested:

(i) It is tiny. 38mm from top to tail (about 12mm shorter than a bug - 25mm shorter than a cobra 3.5). 22mm diameter still.

(ii) Juice capacity 2.1ml - weight about 58g (30g lass than a bug).

(iii) Comes with similar (not the same) style topcap as the bug with a micro chamber - for single wick use.

(iv) Multi wick / U wick capable - use the other topcap which will be up on my site in about 2 weeks. Can be cut with any combination of multiple or stacked airholes to suit whatever you prefer. I had these on the stand to show people, but none ready for sale at the show.

Lots of other differences - it vapes differently to a bug. The topcap now only misses the screws on the deck by 0.5mm. Chamber design has a small tweak to 'spin' the vapour cos that cool with the pyrex tips on. Standard spec airhole is 1.2mm but it feels the same as the bug draw with a 1.0 airhole (the chamber change makes it draw different). The tank bobbin is now cut at 15 degrees rather than 30 (due to the smaller tank size) which still manages to maximise the juice flow - so no dry hits with the rocket.

Centre post has a couple of tiny orings inside to stop the occasional 'drip' that a couple of people had, also it runs on shorter wicks (a lot shorter) to maximise the wicking effect. Short wicks work better (physics).

There are other things that I have probably forgotten - I basicly reworked the entire thing & tweaked everything I could think of to take the atty to the next stage. I liked the doodle design to tried to keep it similar looking, but it is all new baby!

Parts are not interchangeable with the doodlebug - topcaps will not fit properly. Rocket topcaps are physically a tiny bit smaller.

We have changed the manufacturing stages so that topcaps will be available at any time in any configuration after purchase straight from the website - no need to return the atty to us to have them fitted. Topcaps (any style / chamber / airhole configuration) will be £40.

Flavour is mega - if you liked the bug you will love this.

It's really a 18350 mod beauty queen (IMHO) - hope you guys that have just got it will report back soon

storming review. a friend bought one and give me a blast. He used ss rope with 4 wraps 0.20 , tonnes of vapor , but the flavour is just something else. granted ive only tried a couple drippers and compared to anything i own they give the best flavour by miles ( mesh wicked dripper , yummy) this blew it out the water and it was set up in the back of his car which just sounds so seedy. a pocket rocket for sure. if all goes well with this new job , ill be buying one of these asap . it helps that it looks stunning on an 18350 nemesis. and its bloody tiny in that configuration too. small enough that youd be checking your pockets twice when out and about , thats for sure. this obviously goes without saying , but enjoy it :)

And another thing, this is made on a lathe by a bloke in the UK, how come anything since *cough*Thatcher*cough* comes along that promotes local industry, innovation, or community, the officials want to piss on it? Crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Oh well, at least we have royal babies and talent contests.
