a very silly post! Fairly new to this vaping lark but am learning and reading this forum avidly. I have purchased a 306 atomiser with a 306 drip tip to test new juices, my question is once the drip tip has been attached to the ataomizer are you supposed to be able to remove it for cleaning? I can't remove mine for love or money and broken my best nail trying! Thank you

Literally only got mine today, so not a font of knowledge.

But i can say mine pops off with no trouble whatsoever, so I would say yes, you should be able to remove it for cleaning :)

If it is a Siam Mods 306 Tip, it is a tight fit and if you didnt juice the internal oring up, it will be VERY hard to remove it and may require pliers (not on the threads!!!!) to pull it out.

Thanks, I will hunt the pliers out, or would it be possible to rinse it out with the drip tip attached?

Yey no having to turn shed upside down looking for pliers :grin2: So rinse with warm water, shake to dry and ready to use?

If you can't get the drip tip off - just leave it on. I prefer mine to be a tight fit anyway so that there's no chance of it leaking if I put a few more drops in than I should. Simply unscrew it, put your finger over the bottom air hole and fill with warm water - give it a good shake and then leave to dry before giving it a 'quick' dry burn so as not to melt the inside rubber shield on the drip tip (if it has one). When the atty's blown just use the pliers to get it off and fit a new one. I prefer to do this than use pliers to remove it frequently and risk damaging it etc'. Hope that helps, Jason.

Thanks Jason. I think I may have ruined it as everything I put in now tastes really nasty sort of oily and burnt and leaves my mouth really dry...not nice!

Try leaving it in a shot glass of Vodka overnight. Then leave it to dry and give it a quick dry burn. You will hopefully find it'll be OK. Don't give up on these as it really is a great way to try new juices and once you've mastered it you'll be glad you put the effort in. The first time you use it after you've cleaned it put about 10 drops in to really soak it thoroughly, when you notice the flavour going put about another 3 drops in and you'll get about 6 tokes before you drip again. I usually find my mouth does go a bit drier when using the drip tip so don't worry about that - it's normal. Good luck, Jase.

Great thanks for your help, I will give it a try and report back
