Hi guys,

So I got a bit excited and ordered a FT Panzer today and a Kayfun Lite to go with it, hope they look alright together.

This will be my first mod so I'm hoping you guys could help me find some decent, safe batteries and a charger. I'm looking for batteries that will last a while, 2000+mah, so probably needs to be 18650? I'm not looking to sub ohm any time soon, I'll be vaping between 1.2 and 2.4 ohms. Also, does it matter if I get button or flat top batteries? Going by other threads I've read about chargers the Nitecore i2/i4 are pretty decent?

Thanks in advance!

P.S: As it's from FT there's no rush to get them, should be here about 2 weeks from now!

The FT nitecore chargers are ok, for batteries I'd get some flat tops from Torchy over on UKV.

Just buy quality tried & trusted batteries, don't skimp. The better the output, the better the vape.

From someone that doesn't 'sub-ohm' for cloud chasings sake, seeing as you plan to use your KF with a mech, just go for it and get your coil ohms down to around 1.0 ohms +/- a couple of points. IMO it makes a heck of a difference to your enjoyment. With a mech, there is no upping voltage or watts, you have to use the ohms do the power output adjusting for you.

Thanks for your input guys. Is there a minimum discharge rate that I should look for in a battery to safely vape at around 1ohm, say 20 amps? Should I look for IMR batteries or are others, such as ICR, safe enough to use?

FYI I went for the Nitecore i2 charger and 2 Sony VTC5s 18650 batteries :)
