Hi guys i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, anyway today i cracked my glass mini protank clearomizer( dropped it gutted!) it was the one you cannot replace the glass so i have to buy another. I was thinking of buying the mini protank 2 kit £19.99, My question is should i buy the kit knowing its a fixed output battery. or go for the vision spinner 1300 mah battery and purchase the mini protank 2 clearomizer separate? would it make a difference in vaping and throat hit using the variable battery? also i have got a few different ohms coil heads to use to which i can use on the kit with the fixed mah battery? it would be grateful if you guys can give me suggestions to my dilemma thanks

Hi, I've only been vaping for a few months so I can't give you any expert advice, but I started with a couple of evod and quickly moved on to a vision spinner. If I were you I would get the vision spinner as it will save you some money in the long run, and its a bigger battery mine lasts a good day and a half of vaping.

I started on fixed and, early on, added an ego twist (same as the spinner), which certainly adds more versatility to your collection.

I still use the egos, but my main battery is now an itaste VV V3.0, which has variable wattage, which most people prefer to VV - so I suppose I'm just giving you a bit of warning that, though you may be looking to improve on the fixed voltage ego now, you might be looking to upgrade again in the coming months.

Personally, I'd probably be looking to buy separately, now you have a better idea of what you want. It's always advisable to have 2 batteries (one to use, one to charge), but you might think about getting a couple of tanks, perhaps different types, to try out some of the range of clearos out there and so you have spares for swapping flavours (or in case of accidents).

if you were happy enough with your standard ego then fair enough get the protank 2 kit and add a spinner battery later or just go straight for the sppinner now if you feel like you want something extra now vv is a great step to take becaause you can basically choose more or less vapour - I have 4 or 5 juices I really like but they are all at their best at different voltages h menthols i vape higher at around 4.7-5.0v but my fruits i vape around 4.2v and my baccy flavour I vape at 4.5 so its good to have vv to find your own preference. myepack is a good store and you should definitely have a good poke around in there beore you buy anythng.
Happy vaping.

I always rate the Spinner over the ego twist (biased? maybe!). It will last longer at 1300mAh, has clearer readings and seems to have less complaints. I have also put it through its paces. Squashed under a ladder, thrown down 2 flights of stairs, amongst many other lesser accidents... still kicking. I find the VV ego type battery very handy. It is still stealthy and will make a good transition to building your own coils. It lacks an Ohm meter but you can easily estimate Ohms and your taste will do the rest. It really is a flexible and cheap bit of kit and it sounds like you're ready to have that flexibilty, or soon will be. I think I have even seen a spinner/protank II starter kit from a vender here, so perfect!

A protank II will work just fine with a 1.8 Ohm head on a 3.7v battery though if you want to save the pennies.

Here is my spinner with a mini PT2 for reference (sorry about the picture quality):

I love my spinner, the Voltage adjuster on the bottom is very firm, easy to read and set, and will not easily turn accidentally.

I'd suggest getting the spinner and protank seperate as you will upgrade again and can reuse the protank on most starter mods.

I too would go with the spinner or ego twist, I wish I had earlier... As the battery power dwindles you can up the voltage prior to replacement/charging. For me it should have been the natural progression, however I had ordered a few standard ego's which now are ornaments and almost redundant. Although the variable voltage ego types are a bit more pricey definitely worth the wee bit more investment, in my humble opinion.
