Mixing newbie, some questions

Glad to hear you succeeded. I'm in the process of making my first ever batch. Trying to make an ry4 ADV. Using Flavour Arts BYO Nutzilla and RY4 Nutzilla. Will have to see which tastes best, if any !! :D

Is that something to do with tobacco flavour? The RY? I hope it turns out good! [emoji4] how long do you leave that for?

Day 2 of steeping and the juice I learned to create in my lesson is chuffing delicious. :D

That looks interesting! I haven't tried anything blackcurrent before but I hear it's nice [emoji4]

I was slightly concerned about this! Because there must be many drops in some instances, and I am awful for keeping count! I know this from the amount of times I have lost count crocheting :D
My husband bought a scale, which made things really easy.

I made four!
No idea what they will taste like, they may be disgusting. Hopefully not, though. I made what will hopefully be a strawberry milkshake, strawberry cheesecake, a Battenberg and a blueberry peanut butter cheesecake. I had what my husband calls a 'brain fart' with the blueberry one and put in a little too much cheesecake, but I just thought oh well, we will just have to see what this turns out like! I have noted everything down and have a separate notebook to write down the ones that work well (will keep a separate note of what doesn't work digitally). They're sat breathing at the moment and I have labelled them.
I am less concerned about screwing up the flavour, more concerned about getting the nicotine right! Getting it all right is obviously preferable of course. We will see :)

I must say I am so happy I found this forum. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful! Thank you :)

Yeah, I lose count of drops more than 15 as I run out of fingers and toes to count on ;)

Scales are an absolute godsend for me, I mix 100ml batches for special requests and 5litre batches at a time weekly for my 2 stocked liquids I sell at work and to friends. Plastic pipettes are great for adding the last few ml as well. I hope everything turns out well for you and your husband, a tip with breathing is not to leave it for hours to breathe, I find most flavours need an 8 hour breath max over a 3 week period as breathing in my opinion evaporates the flavour due to the hygroscopic nature of the VG. Breathing and steeping are 2 completely different things

Yes , sweet tobacco, caramel, vanilla and nuts.
I think tobacco needs steeping for a few weeks. I'll try a bit after 2

I'm sorry, FIVE LITRES?!? Blimey! You're like Breaking Bad but for e-liquid [emoji23] and here's me impressed with my 40ml hahaha
I left it for about... four or five hours if I remember correctly. Yes, it was about 5pm I finished them. Although I realised I need to add 1.6ml VG to one because it dawned on me with that one I got confused. I need to mix one at a time I think! For now, anyway. However, I think I will make a 100ml of the strawberry milkshake since it seems to have turned out so well! Sorry, I'm rambling on. The others are going to be left alone for at least the next few days.

What does the RY stand for? Sorry, really dim question! I don't like the tobacco taste but for some reason to me it does sound appealing when mixed with other, sweet things. Are you mixing any more that you can try out sooner?

I'm not sure if we've warned you to bulk buy nictone and stick it in the freezer yet. It won't hurt to buy now before the stay/leave vote because the prices are still at normal levels, if we vote to stay the price will sky rocket. You should really do it asap as the larger bottles are running out of stock everywhere. I got 500ml of 72mg because I'm slowly reducing the nicotine I use and was always planning on doing so, but it will be nice to have a bit of stock around so I can help out others.

Thanks for this, I didn't think about it! Will order some more. How long can I freeze it for?

Thanks [emoji4]

There's a 500ml freezer pack on DarkStar for just over £35
Yes, their freezer packs are great in that everything is already done for you. Bit more expensive than buying nic' and bottles separately but very convenient.

Don't buy the freezer packs. They're £7 more expensive, you're paying £7 for 4x500ml bottles when you can split them down yourself for a fraction of the cost
