Mixing, what have I done wrong?

I've just starting playing with mixing my own juices, bought a starter kit with vg,pg and nicotine along with various bottles and syringes from alchemist's cupboard, and some flavour concentrates from an ebay seller. Flavours I bought were pear drops and black jack.

Downloaded the android potv app for calculating mixes and started with the pear drops which turned out to be a nice vape. I've just tried mixing the black jack, and it tastes like burning hair when I try to vape it! The juice smells just like the classic penny sweets, but it is not working at all. Is there anything obvious that could be causing this? Is it just something that happens when you buy cheap concentrate from eBay, or something wrong in the mix?

Yaay, I did exactly the same as you tonight! Alchemists cupboard kit..flavour from tjuice...did you let the juice steep? I'm gonna leave mine for a few days before I try it. Did you vape it straight away?

No, must admit I'm like a kid in a candy store and wanted to try it as soon as possible! Will try steeping the black jack and stick with the pear drops for the time being, but tbh the way that tasted I can't see it improving at all, was absolutely vile!

With a lot of juices you really have to let them steep, some for a week, some for more! Be patient

I've only been mixing a few weeks but it seems like liquorice, black jack type juice needs a fair bit of steeping, but custards are lovely straight off Fruits seem to be fairly quick too.
Mixing is like Fasttech, much patience needed

Is there generally a sign when it's "ready" or just a case of trial and error?

fasttech is nothing to do with mixing dont worry its a chinese site for cheap electronic items ( mods etc) that take forever to deliver.
