Mod/Battery - Recommendations

Hi Guys!

I've recently upgraded to use the Innokin Scion II and Innokin Plex tanks - Both running Scion II 0.15ohm coils (60w-110w), vaping at 60W.

I've noticed my Cool Fire 4 Plus batteries are doing ok, but aren't looking like they would survive a full day on their own without charge.

The majority of the time this is fine, but on days I'm away from home or the office, I'm wanting something I can trust to last a long time.

Anyone have any recommendations for super long battery life? That will work well at 60W?

Also when looking at options, so I need to consider the coil resistance it's running at?

Thank you!

Do you need something with a built-in battery, or are you open to getting a mod where you can switch batteries and charge them in an external charger?

Thanks for the reply Leni - I'm open to either really. I'm using built-in at the moment, but I presume the ones with switching batteries, still charge in a similar way? Inside the machine and such?

Personally in my opinion when vaping at 60 watts using that resistance of coil you'll need to get a mod with external batteries. A dual 18650 mod depending on how much you vape can get you a full days use

Personally I would recommend the vaporesso gen. It's a nice light reasonably compact mod and because it doesnt have a big screen the battery life is decent

I easily get a day out of it using a single mesh 0.15 ohm coil at 60 watts. That too vaping fairly regularly throughout the day

With external battery mods it is good practice to charge the batteries using an external charger so you may want to consider investing in one if you decide to go with an external battery mod

Thanks Badayuni,

Likely wise to pick up spare batteries then? Charge some while using the others? Looks like ample charge options on Amazon, so I'm sure I can find a decent one with a collection of batteries.

Thanks for the recommendation on the mod. It looks quite tidy, I'll add it to the list of potentials

Cheers

as said a vaporesso gen is a great light mod which takes 2 18650 batteries. ive just got my second one.
its advisable though to use an external charger.
or you could get a voopoo x217 which takes 2 21700 batts which would last even longer than 18650.

when it comes to batteries stay away from amazon and ebay. just too many fakes out there.

bookmark this for future reference. post 5 has everything hardware and fogstar or 18650uk should be the only places to buy batteries from. POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

and for mods always ask here before you buy as always discounts can be found.

Thanks for the heads up MrDJ - I was just about to come back and ask advice on the batteries, if any are better than others and such! Thats a fantastic post, I'll stick with the advice and buy from those.

I like the sound of a mod that takes 2 x 21700 batteries, the VooPoo looks nice - I'll have a look through the recommended suppliers list and check out their mods, see what the options are for 21700 batteries

thanks!

As said by others for 18650's the molicell p26a are a good shout for use at 60 watts

The best place to get them is defo fogstar and they always have offers on.

They also normally do bundles with a charger
