So, it finally happened. I thought I was happy with my little E-go batteries and Kangertech bc tanks and all I wanted was a pipe shaped vaper for style and giggles. Then after spending a few weeks here, having problems with bubbly bottom feeders and failing E-go batteries coupled with the difficulty getting a reliable supplier of decent priced batteries that I didn't throw away after multiple problems with charging and unwanted heat in the body or tingling fingers I'm starting to look at mods.

I think I'll be getting a protank 2 in the near future and want a mod to run it on, but I have no idea what I'm looking for other than it taking a rechargeable 18650 battery because I already have 4 of those and a charger for my torch and they're nice and reliable. The only problem I have is cost, sure I love the look of the 134, but it's over double what I can justify spending on my vaping so I'm looking for a mod that will be reliable, easy to use, and last but not least, in the under £50 price bracket.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. :30:

Innokin SVD or a Smok SID should be in your price range and you have control over the settings. I am sure other options will start to appear quickly on here or are you looking at a true mechanical mod ?

Sigelei zmax v3 is around your price range and is good bit of kit for the price

+1 on the Sigelei zmax had mine a month or 2, nice and solid

Svd but it's mahoosive in 18650 or there's the vamo

Couldn't agree more there. My SVD is like a tank round in long mode.
Been using it in all modes, including stacked 350's. Can't fault it.
But don't drop it on ya foot, cause that's gonna hurt. 220g compared to 167g with the v-max, both with PT on.

vamo's are cheap and reliable and easy to get hold of, and theres plenty of UK sellers that sell them at less then £50......you'll get a decent bit of kit with some atomizers for around the £50 mark

Here's an extremely trusted vendor that will go miles out of his way to help you and won't sell you dangerous mickey mouse rubbish which is what it sounds like you have previously bought. Being a long time owner of a vamo (I have three), I can only but recommend them. http://www.stealthvape.co.uk/electr...s/vamo-v2-chrome-black-chrome-stainless-steel

Of course, if all else fails you can always revert to the old faithful. MATCHESWAN.JPEG

I got a Vamo v2. Very easy to use. They are under £40 at vapescape.co.uk. The version 4 Vamo is under £50. Free delivery for any transaction over £40.
