I have used green smoke e cigs for a while and though ok I wanted something better and less expensive to run. I bought my first mod a Tornado v3 over the weekend and wow what a difference in vaping pleasure, I have now really got the vaping bug and wish to buy a more powerful mod with VV and VW. I have been looking at a Vamo V5 and fitting a largish atomiser like the Aspire Nautilus.

I would like your advice on the above or suitable alternatives and how versatile this set up would be if I wish to go further into vaping as I don't want to keep needing to buy a different kit to move on further.

You will probably eventually want a mech mod, but for the next stage in your vaping career a VV/VW (variable voltage/ variable wattage) device would be a really good idea. For longevity I would recommend a box mod like the MVP v.2 or possibly a DNA 30 device. Look for really long battery life and an ohms checking facility. The reason I am suggesting this type of option is that it will give you a device that you will probably still use and appreciate having in your arsenal even if you do move on to mechs. The Vamo has the ohms checking option, but the battery life isn't as good as the MVP.

Hi thanks for your reply. The DNA 30 seems a little pricey but have found this online, Innokin Itaste VTR Advanced Kit. Is this similar to the one you recommend?

That is a type of box mod, but like the Vamo it takes 18650 batteries whereas the MVP v.2 has a built in battery that is basically the same sort of thing that you get in your mobile phone. This gives it awesome battery life and means you just plug the device into a phone charger to charge it rather than needing to buy batteries and a charger to go with it.

The VTR is a stunningly beautiful piece of kit though, I found it too heavy for me, but I am female so you might not find the weight an issue. The collar on it also restricts the type of atties you can put on it with out using an extension piece.

+1 for the mvp..also consider the naturevape tanks/coils.. beats the Nautilus imho..my Nautilus hasn't been used for weeks now.

Ive recently made the same move as you and loving it!

After a bit of research i bought the vamo v5 and for the first few days it was superb, however its now knackered and decides when it wants to work or not :( probably just unlucky and bought a dud but its going back to the shop and swapped for a mvp2.

The nautilus is superb though, big vape and big taste!

Hi again my fellow west Yorkie, I have found a MVP V2 with an iclear atty for £39.95 which is roughly half the price of the other one by the time the batteries and charger are added on.

Check the discounts tab to see if the vendor has a discount code, or have a look here, iTaste MVP V2.0 Rugged Steel - Mods This vendor gets lots of great reviews for speed, price and customer service.

Totally lay agree with this, went from the Vamo to the MVP and it's a way about the rest.
