rotation is the key as vaping the same flavour for too long risks vapours tongue where you will lose all taste.
you could try the marmite test from vampire vapes. you will either love it or hate it. heizenburg is a dark fruits berry and aniseed and is quite strong. a warning though is it can linger in tanks for months even after a thorough was out. i use one tank just for that flavour.
also if you do buy some 18mg and its too strong then just buy a zero nicotine of the same flavour and mix them both together and it will lower to 9mg

You could buy a zlide for less than two packs of fags and get a few different strengths of liquid to try. Get a 6mg for your dl tank too and see how you go. Keep the mod you have until you’ve decided whether to stick with vaping or not. When you crack it you can go wild! If you decide to stay with dl then the likes of @MrDJ and others can give you some good recommendations on the next tank to buy for dl. Good luck. Try and stick with it as once you find your happy place you’ll never look back!

I've just remembered, the guy who sold me the mod told me if I'm wanting to use high nicotine % I'd be better off with a pen style one. He said the higher power mods just burn the nicotine and it tastes horrible. Is that true or do you think he's on commission to sell them? Haha

Total bollocks I’m afraid. Your mod can adjust the wattage from anything from 1 to 80watts. For mtl you’ll be in the 10-20 watt bracket. He’s just trying to sell you something else.

Most mods including yours have a 510 connection; so providing the tank has a 510 (most do) you’ll be fine.

id call that bullshit.
high end mods that go upto 220watts will work fine for low wattage as they are variable so can go from 5watts all the way upto 220watts. if you use a mouth to lung tank at 10-12watts you just turn the wattage down. if you then buy a subohm tank you just screw it on and turn the wattage up.
majority of coils should have the recommended wattage either on the box or on the coil. as long as you stick between that wattage range then you will be fine.
a 220w mod might be overkill as the mostly take external batteries so you will also need an external charger. for every mod i have i have 4 batteries for each so i just swap them over when battery is low and then charge the other two.

Final question, do all tanks fit all mods?

almost all have a 510 screw connection. ive heard another connection mentioned but out of the 37 mods i have they are all 510 connection.

Ive been using the zlide tank for last 3 weeks and its a good tank, ive tried the 1.6 coils which were canny and happier with the plex 3d. Also using 70/30 and 50/50 juice with no problems and good flavour spesh with 70/30. I use either my smok alien 220 or aegis legend mod and its happy at 12-14 watts ,uve just gotta remember to press new coil on mod when going from a subohm to zlide tank.

I have been vaping for a few weeks using a Wismec Active (adding a 20mg nic salt to 50mg liquid) and I enjoy it but struggling to stop smoking. (my plan was to gradually cut down and use vaping as an aid) and I just have a couple of questions.

Is it right that adding a 20mg nic salt to 50 ml liquid equates to around 3mg nicotine? I have been told it is way too low and need around 18mg when first stopping smoking to be satisfied.. Is there a way to get to 18 mg without buying pre mixed liquids?

I have been told that mtl vaping is a lot better for stopping smoking, is that true?

Also what is the best mod and tank for mtl vaping (UK) if money isn't an issue?
