Multimeters. Why?how?where?

I use a multi meter quite frequently. It's used primarily for checking battery voltage. You can also connect it to the positive and negative terminals on an atty and fire it then you can also see what the voltage drop across the mod and atty is.
 
Only use mine to check batteries before and after charging. I use a lot of batteries, not just for vaping.
 
I have one but no don't use it as I got a regulated device with screen showing my ohms. I feel if I get a mech mod then yes I would use it for testing continuity and for any shorts. It's would also then be important to check the ohms to apply ohms law thus find out my maximum demand amp rating, this would check my batteries are able to cope with the continuous draw that I will be using depending on my ohm reading.

In short:
For regulated mod, No.
For a mech mod, defiantly.
