My first DIY box mod

As per the subject line, I made a box mod :-) excuse the picture quality but I've taken it for a walk down the pub! It's a rebuilt Vamo V2, as surprise surprise, the threads were fucked. I have two 18650s in there hence the beefiness of it, but I'm happy to have got it all up and running anyway!

Nice work! Bottom firing too, I do like a bottom firing MOD!

That looks like a fine ale selection in your local!

11 on cask, 5 on keg and a few ciders / perrys, so it's not a bad place to drink!

Oh, and thanks for your comments about my handiwork! I wasn't originally planning on putting the button there but due to the layout it was the most sensible place, and I must say, I'm converted to bottom firing now as well :-)

Now all I need to do is add a window for the display and figure out which pins to solder the small switches onto - can somebody advise? Dusting down my electronics from school and I can't remember much!

How're you doing mate?

It's not a real KFL - it's a lowly Fasttech clone I'm afraid! Although I was just seriously looking at getting one from Svoemesto with their current 20% reduction, can I justify it...?!

I also have an Ithaka clone now which is quite a beast!

I'm now mixing my own juice, mainly from Tjuice concentrates and I'm much happier with that than some of the shop bought crap! Down to 5mg now too. I'll have a look at the B-Juice stuff though, thanks.

So a lot has changed since we last saw each other!

I think a meetup would be a great idea, you tell me when you're up for it and I will be there!

Basically you just solder to 1 side of the little switches, same for the fire button
